This movie caused me to turn to reading. As a bullied child, I escaped in books. This song makes me cry as an adult because I see myself in it. Now as a librarian's assistant, I found my dream.
You did not escape you just found who you was meant to be in life, a person of knowledge and understanding through covers and papers. Reading has captured you and now you can feel free in doing what you are good at and find pleasure in life.
This brings tears to my eyes... I love how these songs were played in my childhood movies. They always left hope and truth in my soul...I'm still dreaming away :-)
I love this song. How could I forget? I could never outgrow something amazing in fantasy adventures like this. They never bother me with such dreams in my head. I do remember the movie when I was only seven years old because I once had a videotape of it until it was gone. But, after all these years, I got it on DVD. I love the parts where they sang, "Dream away. Let imagination light your way to take you as far as your heart can see. Dream away to a place where hope is shining, find your silver lining. Everything you need is just a dream away." And I kept up with it for as long as I can remember. I still refuse to grow up and forget the precious things of my childhood like Peter Pan. I never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart.
Brilliant song at the end of the Pagemaster and then followed by Whatever You Imagine by Wendy Moten, lovely and relaxing songs but emotional too as it makes me think of my late grandmother who died 3 years ago and we used to watch this movie together.
Im 19 & I Was Born In 1993.... I LOVED This Song When The Credits Rolled For "The Pagemaster"... I Just Downloaded This & It's On Repeat.. Love This Song... I Wish Babyface Was Still Big To Younger Generations... :/ Oh Well..
The Pagemaster may tanked at the box office or panned by critics but the movie has a special place to those who grew in an era when it came out and to those who just appreciate it.
And you gotta love the message, too. Reading can be just as intriguing as watching TV or playing video games. A truly underrated classic that doesn't get enough credit.
Lisa and . Baby face did an awesome duet together here yes it seems to be just a dream in this world much love to . Lisa and. Baby face I love you guys just fantastic.
I miss the 90s as well, this has been the best song I listen to. The Pagemaster is the best childhood movie ever. And I pray for Macaulay Culkin, hope he’s doing well and wish he return to acting, still one best actors in the world.
He's doing GREAT!!! ^_^ He's a happy & healthy 43-year-old, married with at least two kids, still acts on occasion, & -- get this -- JUST GOT A STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME!!! 😊
The movie and soundtrack are sort of a bitter sweet love for me... Both came out right around the time my uncle died and I'd often watch the movie or listen to the soundtrack to sort of take my mind off my sorrow, but at the same time, both had much love from me. Anyone else have the book or the Sega Genesis game? Those were awesome too... =D
The moment I first saw this movie I was inspired by the story of how you can become a person who can learn to face their fears and become someone greater through knowledge I love this movie now and forever and the music is so good I just had to buy the soundtrack on iTunes I love it 😊
It's 2022 and this song still has its magic... sometimes we need to dream away, to encourage ourselves, to make our wishes come true...👏👏🤗🤗🌟🌟 so, let's dream away...❤💛🧡💚💜💙
I remember watching the movie as a kid and never paid attention to the song and now at 23 years old I listen to this song constantly playing on a loop just to help me sleep it's so peaceful and beautiful and I still watch the movie and it inspires me to draw and to also read
I love finding these sorts of things on the web. They're from before my time, but they naturally inspire a sort of nostalgia without context, if that makes sense. Now to see if I can find a copy of the movie somewhere.
It's wierd because James Horner did both "The Pagemaster (soundtrack)" and the "Casper (soundtrack)" and both soundtracks had 2 orginial songs on them and the rest of the tracks of both soundtracks were the orginial score.
Ephesians 2:6-8 [6]And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: [7]That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. [8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
OMG, you're right! ^_^ We've got... * Leonard Nimoy (OG Spock) as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde 👨🔬😈 * Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) as Adventure 🗡️ * And...who's the third one? 😬
Lisa Stansfield has soul and Babyface is incomparable 🤩💐

wow

I agree with you 100%!
It truly is, hands-down the most underrated non-Disney animated film of the 90's. It deserved better.
It did! Why, I'm currently working on a review video of it!
Cool, can't wait to see it!
25 years later still amazing.
Diane Warren is my #1 favorite pop songwriter of all time.
It's not always about the strength or weakness of a song. Whether or not people will LOVE the song is what matters, sometimes.
Great song for dreamers
The Pagemaster, one of the best movies of my childhood :)
Lisa Stansfield. Babyface. 'Nuff said. A great singer and a great Singer-songwriter together. Thanks for the upload, LisaStansfieldVEVO. Blessings

David Foster, nice I thought it was Diane Warren that wrote this? Or maybe.....Diane wrote it, David Produces and Babyface sings. how cool is that?
@@tavoiaiono7885 Yes Dianne Warren wrote and composed the song - David Foster was just the producer
