Mandy & Steven, you have one of the best cooking shows on UA-cam. I'd rather watch you than Food Network. You're so down-to-earth and full of personality. And your recipes never disappoint. Thanks for all you do!
I agree. Their videos are so feel-good and relaxing for me. I love the authenticity and how they're just real, relatable people instead of the whole fancy schmancy production stuff in other cooking shows. Mandy and Steven feel like they're my friends who live down the street.
You both are the luckiest people in the world to have one another. Perfection in a marriage is almost impossibe. I wish I had this kind of video when my kids were growing up. (didn't have computers or cell phones). They would have seen how marriage is supposed to be. The only time I smile or laugh is when I watch you two. I write down all your recipes. My great grandson loves to cook. So I am making him a cookbook with your recipes and mine. He will be able to cook for his family when he has one. Love you both. You are inspiring.
@@LolliMolly09 You are absolutely right about that! I love it with sauerkraut. Have you ever made pork country ribs with sauerkraut? I could eat them until I make myself sick 😋
Boil whole potatoes on Sunday. Drain n leave peel on! Then so fast to complete your meal! Great for hash browns! A German friend taught me this years ago! Then you can make potato salad, soup, casseroles guickly! ❤❤❤
@@debragreen7272Boiling is great if you don't have a pressure cooker. I put whole potatoes in the pressure cooker with 1/2 cup of water. Pressure cook for 6 minutes. Release pressure, let cool and store uncovered in the refrigerator. It's faster than boiling.
I had to smile when you lifted the lid on the skillet and water poured all over the floor.😂 I thought I was the only one who did that. Most days, I actually throw a paper towel on the kitchen floor to mop up the water spills I make during cooking. I now feel I'm in good company.🎉 Love your channel!❤
If there is any cooking channel I have time to watch it’s always yours! Not only do you have great recipes but you always make me laugh and smile. The love you two share is truly a blessing and so sweet to see! ❤
LOVE watching your videos with Common Tator. It’s awesome you have such a supportive hubby who enjoys cooking with you. He does a great job at explaining every dish he tries, and that helps me to decide if it’s a dish that my hubby and I would like or not. Keep up the great work you 2. I cannot wait for your next video, can’t get enough of them. They are just simple recipes with not a lot of ingredients and usually have everything on hand to make them.
Y'all, the first few seconds already got me smiling! ❤ Another way I use kielbasa is with the Zatarain's Jambalaya with Cheese rice mix. I get some good color on the kielbasa and then add in the jambalaya mix, following those instructions. I serve it with cornbread, and even my 6 and 7 year olds LOVE it. 😊
Have to agree with you Mary, not many cooking shows are so much fun and informative to watch. Mandy and Steven are such real people and it does come across clearly. I enjoy this cooking show a lot!
I love the way you say your words,"boil, oil, ect". Love the fact that it's just garlic, salt and pepper. It's great. Great video. Btw it's insta there's no n or t in instapot.
You two are so funny! We are huge fans of Kielbalsa, smoked sausage, polish sausage, brats, chicken sausage, breakfast sausage, etc. So much flavor. Endless possibilities. Yes!
Mandy and Steven; we are so thankful for you. We love your recipes, we love the fun times and laid back, realness of who you are---heck, we love YOU! Thank you always for easy, delicious meal ideas and great videos! Have a great week! 😊💕
You two are great!! I’m watching y’all at my daughters cello lessons and trying not to laugh. The new outdoor space is beautiful. I love hearing the nature in the background. It’s joyful watching y’all!!
4/4/23 The first recipe is a true one pot casserole, stove top. OH!, and Granny's cornbread, wonderful! More casseroles please. Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
Love your videos. You two are so lucky to have each other. Love the comments from Steve when he's eating. I've only seen him say no only once to one of your dishes, so I know your a darn good cook and he is giving his opinion.. you two ROCK
my mom used to make this thanks for bringing back those memories. Some of you guys have inspired me to start my on channel. i had a stroke a few years back i wanted to start a homesteading content. we have lots of animals but my left leg isn't to good so have to use a cane left hand doesn't work at all so walking around with a Camra while doing my chores just doesn't work. lol but as i was watching some of you guys cook one day i thought what the heck i can cook and love cooking and talking. lol i can put the camera on a tripod so I'm gonna do it i made three little videos just fooling round talking cooking shared on face book got great feed back so down loaded to you tube for a start pray for me pleas .
I love kielbasa! (Veal witha K=KIELbasa) love your recipes… my usual kielbasa recipe is red and yellow bell peppers cut in strips, Valdalia cut in rings and separated, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes with the keilbasa. Kind of stir fried until tender and browned- served over white rice. Soooooo yummy.
I grew up in Ohio and have lived in NY for the past 20 years. We pronounce it Keebasa. No L. I walked into the mail room at work the other day and I heard Mandy's voice. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I realized that my friend Dawn was eating lunch at her desk and watching your videos. I couldn't believe that someone I have known for years watches you too. Dawn and I had a great laugh over that. AS I was leaving working today, she commented that you were cooking kielbasa today. I raced home. Thanks for sharing.
Great to see you using HIllshire Farm sausages! I worked there for 8 years and actually made this sausage. The most impressive thing about Hillshire Farm is they use really good quality meat and the whole place is like super super clean, their standards are higher than the government standards. This sausage makes a great meal, I always keep some on the fridge I'll get 3 or 4 meals from 1 sausage and it's very reasonably priced. I like rice but pasta works great also! Your recipes look delicious.
@@maccusmc HIllshire Farms is in my home town Fritz Berneger started the company. I think he started it with his brother but I can't remember. I believe they started out by making German sausages. Great recipe ideas. I always have smoked sausage or kielbasa in my fridge so I'll probably have to make your first meal this weekend. Steven has an awesome announcer voice. Y'all really are such a joy to watch ❤. Love from West Georgia 😊
Before I found your channel, my family had never used kielbasa. Now it is a staple in household!! I have tried the broccoli rice skillet and stew and both are some of our favorites! ❤️ Can’t wait to try the creamy pasta one!
First time seeing your channel . All 3 of these recipe ideas look vary tasty. Defiantly saving them to my must try list. Thank you for sharing . Ontario Canada .
I agree with mary! I love how organized and thorough you are in explaining the steps that you are taking to produce what you are making! and some of the recipes I will not lie, I have been skeptical about, but overall I have always enjoyed watching your vids! some of them I have made myself and can also say that I thoroughly enjoyed them! thanks to both of you for sharing! xoxo
You are both very cool and funny people to watch.😊 I enjoy watching couples have fun together and just being happy together. I enjoyed watching your meal prep together. Have a blessed day !
I was so happy to see this video pop up. I had taken a kielbasa out of the freezer and have been trying to think what to do with it and you gave me the best ideas. Kielbasa was on sale last week for real cheap and I picked up 6 of them. Such a great bunch of options for dinner. I look forward to seeing you and Steven every week not only for the meals but for your beautiful relationship and great humor.
Thank you so much for your amazing recipes and your loving hearts. I am going to make the cheese and broccoli tomorrow night. My cats said hello to Gracie.
When I first watched this a couple weeks ago I had chicken breast I needed to cook. So I made the first recipe only with chicken. Also I didn't have stock so I used two packs of chicken top ramen seasoning mixed with 2cups of water lol. At the end I sprinkled sriracha and yellow bird hot sauces over and mixed it in. I can't tell ya how fantastic it turned out!!! Tonight I made it with broccoli and cauliflower with kielbasa sausage. Also added fresh chopped garlic. It's done and waiting to be eaten, smells soooo goood!!! Thank you so much!!
I made the cheesy kielbasa rice broccoli skillet for dinner tonight and it was a hit. I stumbled upon your channel a month ago and I love it. You and you’re family are so warm and loving. Oh and your husband is FINE!! Haha
Nice recipes, I'm going to make the rice and broccoli tonight. I especially like to see a lovely married couple cooking together. When we were first married, hubby warned me that he was not a kitchen guy. Slowly, over time I lured him in. First, I begged him to light the gas grill for me because I was nervous about it. Then he offered to do the steaks on it. Soon he was doing prep with me so we could chat about the day. It's been nearly fifty years since we started and we still cook together every night. Best of luck for many years of happiness together.
Y'all would be great on Food Network! You both are so genuine on camera and always bring a smile to my face. Plus, Gracie steals the show. The recipes are the icing on the cake! YUM!
I make fresh green beans, red potatoes and keilbasa. This was my mother-in-law's concoction but it is truly very good. Start by cooking the green beans, adding chunks of red potatoes about half way thru. The sliced keilbasa can be added at any point--I usually add once I've started the green beans. But, I do microwave the sliced keilbasa for a couple minutes before I add it to the green beans. That way the finished dish won't be greasy. No seasonings needed when cooking. We do add salt and pepper to taste after it's plated. Hope you enjoy it if you try it! 😊
My husband and I are low carb eaters but watching your recipes I can easily adapt them. I am getting so many ideas! I needed to mix things up. I tend to make the same things all the time. Thank you.
Love these! Kilbeasa (or however you spell it) is one of our family faves, like you say its always on hand, and so good to see fresh ideas to cook with it. Your laughter together is infectious, thanks for being yourselves guys. Watching from southern uk, and of all the cooking channels on you tube yours is up there with the best! Keep ‘em coming xx😊
Mandy and Steve, you're recipes always uploaded on time. I have a freezer full of these. I just made your Italian Caabage, Potatoes subby supper. So good.
Sue here: lol the instant pot danger segment 😱 is exactly how I feel about opening a can of biscuits or rolls. I'm scared to death of the pop⚠️. I call people, pray, pep talk, and say 1,2,3 ... chicken out. Mandy this whole video excellent as usual. Yes, you and your hubby are a perfect team for this. (We can all relate to tense moments in the kitchen, too 😂.)
Hi..I was the same until I started using a spoon. Unwrap the paper and lay the cardboard tube on the counter. Grab a metal spoon and press the base of the spoon right on the seam...it pops really quietly and no banging and exploding required 😊
I always get kidded about being afraid of the popping of the biscuit cans and I hate balloons for that reason I throw the disc can around the kitchen until it pops open😅 save me from the scary popping sounds 😂
Girl, thank you! I needed this video badly lol I've got soooo many of the Hillshire kielbasa and garlic chicken sausage in my freezer because of a big sale Winn-Dixie had last month lol I just kept buying them, but wasn't planning what to DO with them all lol
I make cabbage soup with kielbasa chicken broth, chopped cabbage, onion, celery, carrots, can of tomatoes, can of drained and rinsed kidney beans or cannanelli beans. Delicious
My husband likes to aggravate me like Steven does you. Lol For me, what I enjoy is seeing the real you and Steven over a scripted video! Great recipes as usual. I've already gone through all your older and more recent videos and so now I'm going back through them to see which recipes I still need to try. I use to go to Pinterest to look for recipes but I usually come to your channel now!
Hey sweet friend. Thank you everyone for your prayers Friday. We had tornadoes hit 50 yards from our house Friday night. We're safe, just our internet service is very weak. We're supposed to have more severe weather today and possibly tomorrow. Please pray for our town. A lot of people lost their homes, businesses, loved ones, and etc. Thank you again. We truly appreciate all the prayers.
Oh my goodness 😮 I don't know where you're at, but I'm praying that you will be safe and your community will be spared any storm's destruction. We're born and raised in Florida where hurricanes 🌀 do a number on our state and my heart truly goes out for you ❤ Wishes for you ALL to be safe honey and our prayers are with you ❤🙏❤️
Hello, I'm an old dude with 3 grown sons and 2 beautiful grand daughters, and I think your channel is the greatest! I make some of your food and invite them over and they think its great. So thank you for all that you do. You and Steven are loved.
Potatoes=useless carbs. I love em, don't get me wrong but we eat too much breads, pastas and potatoes. Unless we want to continue being fatties, we need to eat more protein and fats. The 4 food groups was such nonsensical propaganda. I'm 47, crossfiit 3-4 times a week and I'm healthier then I have ever been.
hey we pronounce Kielbasa...as Kill-Basa...haven't heard anyone sylible (sp) it out as Keel-Basa....but I'm from the North though living in TX now...looked it up and it is pronounced...Kill-Basa....you two are phenomenally awesome together!!!!
I love your channel, couples that cook together stay together. My husband and I are always trying new recipes (mostly yours). Keep cooking ya'll!! You're such a pleasure to watch.
you two remind me of my mom and dad. they loved each other their entire lives. what a team you two are! thanks for the wonderful recipes i am always starving when i watch your videos!!!!!! Hearts! Joyce
The second recipe is a favorite of my hubby’s. Instead of plain tomatoes, the recipe I have uses Rotel. And I usually do pepper Jack. I whip up a batch of jiffy cornbread muffins while it simmers. It’s so delicious!
Me and my hubby just made the creamy sausage pasta tonight, and oh my!!!! So delicious. We changed a few things around and tried it with a red bell pepper, and 2 jalapeños instead. Sautéed the jalapeños with the pepper/onion/garlic and once we added the liquids in we also included 1 heaping tablespoon of Cajun seasoning!!! It was sooo yummy 😊
I make a dish with one red pepper, (cut in about 1” X 1/4” pieces) a green pepper (cut the same) and 1 large yellow onion or 2 med. cut about the same as the peppers. Oil the pan, add the veggies and sliced sausage and cook until the veggies are soft and sausage is cooked through. While I’m doing this I have rotini pasta cooking in a pot of water. Drizzle the veggie/sausage mixture with Italian dressing and add the cooked pasta. Add more dressing if needed. My husband loves this dish. I changed the original recipe a bit, since the linguine noodles were hard to keep on a fork. There were a few other ingredients but this is how we like it and it’s fast and easy.
10/18/23 Well I’m back again. This time I downloaded and shared this video. I thought I had before but I couldn’t find it. I’m excited ! You three are like family. God Bless
Mandy and Steven, I love all your videos. The recipes are amazing and not a lot of extra seasonings that sometimes we don't have available. Thank for sharing. Sending warm hugs.
Thank you sir for your service and welcome home ❤, I cooked a lot of this for my family with cabbage and potatoes, military style food for big families with little money. SOS was also a favorite
I used the Johnsonville Andouille sausage in the pasta recipe and it came out REALLY good. My sons ate seconds! Also when I cut my sausage, I cut it in half (at the bend), line both halves together and cut them both at the same time. Thanks for the recipe!
While we were raising our kids they loved this sausage with eggs and cheese on top………we had 5 kids, last one at home is 18 and she’s moving out 😕my husband and I need to cook for 2 now. New subscriber here. Also wan to thank you for your service.
Y'all, my husband and I had it with cabbage and mixed vegetables last night. And tomorrow night we are having what is left for breakfast. I just love y'all and your videos.
Bless her heart it is instant pot ;) I've been making Jambalaya for over 10 years and recently widowed had to learn to make smaller version of that dish. I also make varying version of what I like to call Dressed Up Red Beans and rice (red beans, smoked sausage, onion, bell pepper, garlic and rice) I always switch the seasoning just a touch for a change of pace. All of these recipes look simple and delicious and very familiar. Thanks for sharing your love for cooking, your home and relationship. Keep them coming
Hello Mandy. My husband and I watched this video and he mentioned he liked everything in the Cheesy Kielbasa, Rice and Broccoli Skillet dish. I made it last night and it was truly amazing. Our son gave it two thumbs up and it was definitely a 'go backer!" This one was voted on as being put on "the rotation". Keep up the good work. We have tried several of your recipes and we enjoy having new and different dishes to try.🤗
I just found your channel because I love kielbasa and needed new ideas. I love to cut up cabbage and cut up the kielbasa in it and that is the basic recipe I had but now I have new ones. Thank you so much and it is good to see two people love each other and support each other, keep it up.
You saved me today Mandy. So i ran put on a pot of northern beans w diced carrots and onions and while those were cooking i cut and browned up my sausage meat, made a pot of rice and some jiffy corn bread. I was trying to figure out what to make today because I'm making chicken noodle soup tomorrow before the hurricane weather starts. Im on the east coast of florida but we'll get plenty of wind n rain I'm sure. So Thank you for that recipe !!❤

Tried the pasta one. Delish. We have added to our meal rotation.
Mandy and Steve, you're recipes always uploaded on time. I have a freezer full of these. I just made your Italian Caabage, Potatoes subby supper. So good.
I love watching you and your husband interacting - so much fun - Keep up the good work kids!
Made the first one. Wow! Delicious!! Thank you for the idea, video, and the laughs!! Such good people. Take care.
Girl, thank you! I needed this video badly lol
I've got soooo many of the Hillshire kielbasa and garlic chicken sausage in my freezer because of a big sale Winn-Dixie had last month lol I just kept buying them, but wasn't planning what to DO with them all lol
I make cabbage soup with kielbasa chicken broth, chopped cabbage, onion, celery, carrots, can of tomatoes, can of drained and rinsed kidney beans or cannanelli beans. Delicious
Thank you for your military service, Steven.
I still enjoy seeing the two of you together you are awesome
My husband likes to aggravate me like Steven does you. Lol For me, what I enjoy is seeing the real you and Steven over a scripted video! Great recipes as usual. I've already gone through all your older and more recent videos and so now I'm going back through them to see which recipes I still need to try. I use to go to Pinterest to look for recipes but I usually come to your channel now!
I LOVE when you give your kitty cheese. Makes me happy🥰
We're born and raised in Florida where hurricanes 🌀 do a number on our state and my heart truly goes out for you ❤
Wishes for you ALL to be safe honey and our prayers are with you ❤🙏❤️
@Mrs.Alma Trumble 🙏❤️
@@mrs.b6719 I'm in Southwest Tennessee. Thank you for your prayers.
@lisa howard thank you.
Stay safe Mrs. Alma I'll keep y'all in my prayers ❤🙏
Hello, I'm an old dude with 3 grown sons and 2 beautiful grand daughters, and I think your channel is the greatest! I make some of your food and invite them over and they think its great. So thank you for all that you do. You and Steven are loved.
Always make it with fried potatoes
Potatoes=useless carbs. I love em, don't get me wrong but we eat too much breads, pastas and potatoes. Unless we want to continue being fatties, we need to eat more protein and fats. The 4 food groups was such nonsensical propaganda. I'm 47, crossfiit 3-4 times a week and I'm healthier then I have ever been.
@@nonyabusiness1431 Absolutely correct
I use to be in the kitchen with my
grandparents. Watching the two of you, reminds me of them. I learned to cook with them. Love your recipes.😊
The older men get the funnier they think they are. Lol
hey we pronounce Kielbasa...as Kill-Basa...haven't heard anyone sylible (sp) it out as Keel-Basa....but I'm from the North though living in TX now...looked it up and it is pronounced...Kill-Basa....you two are phenomenally awesome together!!!!
I love your channel, couples that cook together stay together. My husband and I are always trying new recipes (mostly yours). Keep cooking ya'll!! You're such a pleasure to watch.
Thank you for sharing recipes. I made the dish with kielbasa, rice and cheese. My husband loved it. It will be a go backer. Again thank you.
Fried cabbage with smoked sa and bacon my all time favorite smoked sausages dish
you two remind me of my mom and dad. they loved each other their entire lives. what a team you two are! thanks for the wonderful recipes i am always starving when i watch your videos!!!!!! Hearts! Joyce
The second recipe is a favorite of my hubby’s. Instead of plain tomatoes, the recipe I have uses Rotel. And I usually do pepper Jack. I whip up a batch of jiffy cornbread muffins while it simmers. It’s so delicious!
You two are great together. Love watching you create masterpieces.
Yes to the idea of kielbasa with cabbage and noodles. I started it with lots of onions to. ❤❤❤
Y’all are great together! My husband and I have a very similar relationship to you two. It is such a blessing!
So agree, you two are just adorable together!
I can't tell you how many times you saved my craziness from wondering " what's for dinner!"
Bit thank you!!!
God bless you!
Thank you sir for your service and welcome home ❤, I cooked a lot of this for my family with cabbage and potatoes, military style food for big families with little money. SOS was also a favorite
Love the kielbasa helper homemade recipes.
Kielbasa and broccoli dish is amazing thank you so much sometimes I just don't know what to cook.
I used the Johnsonville Andouille sausage in the pasta recipe and it came out REALLY good. My sons ate seconds!
Also when I cut my sausage, I cut it in half (at the bend), line both halves together and cut them both at the same time.
Thanks for the recipe!
I love Kiebasa. This recipes looks good with the rice and extra veggies.
Thanks for the Kielbasa Skillet Stew recipe. It’s good to find a recipe without milk products for those who can’t have it!
A little red onion slices and a touch a vinegar with the last recipe would be a nice touch imo.
I love seeing y'all interact also. You seem like family!!!
Cabbage and noodles with kielbasa
Classic and delicious.
One of my favorites!
Yes. With a good yellow onion. Sometimes some grated carrot too.
Instead of noodles use a can of white beans like cannaneli
I had it it was delicious
You two are awesome together. Love how you use vegetables in many of your recipes. Great job!
So nice to see a happy couple. Thanks
