@@hamandtysfishingadventures9685 mines should be here this week you guys have some amazing fishing over there I’m in Scotland the waters have been destroyed by foreign boats and dredgers fishings still ok but the fish aren’t as big as I’d like
Hi, great video! I like your set up. I am looking at getting either the profish 400 or the profish Gt when I finally decide on which one. Was the profish 400 a great fishing kayak? Did you ever camp with your kayak? Could you fit much into the hatches? Where did you store your c-tug?
the 400 has little storage mate I used to have to walk the c tug back to the vehicle , great kayak for stability and sped just lacks in storage, the GT is more for wash water fishing outside the breakers etc, long paddles are not designed for the GT very stable but slow going if you are going long distances. The Reload by far for camping storage speed and stability great all round yakk for those bigger missions offshore. I hope this has helped in some way man, and thank you for your feed back on my content.
@@hamandtysfishingadventures9685 Thanks for getting back to me with some great info. That’s my only draw back on the 400 is storage but I think it will do the job for most my needs if I take minimal stuff. The reload looks the business! But I have already stretched my budget as I was looking to buy the galaxy sturgeon but then stumbled across the 400 at nearly double the price. How long did you fish of the 400 before you got the reload ?.
The seat I use is the old viking sest, I hate the big seats as uncomfortable and the low back seat is great as I can lean back and stretch out on it. They don't make them anymore mate have you tried going out with no seat????? Even that is more comfortable than the high back seat........
Excellent review as there are not many reviews of the 400 around. I have the Profish GT which is really stable but a struggle to paddle against the wind and waves. Considering trading the GT in for the 400 with Bixpy motor which would enable me to fish places that are otherwise out of paddling reach for me. How do you find the stability of the 400? Have you ever paddled the GT to compare? Thanks and keep up the good work.
@@hamandtysfishingadventures9685 I don't go offshore just stick to rivers and Botany Bay in Sydney. Some spots I would like to fish may be 3km or more from launch site so could get up to 10km including fishing. If the wind picks up it is hard work to paddle the GT home. Cheers.
Hey there, thanks for the videos - I have a 400 and I am in Wellington too. I have only had it for a few months but I am enjoying it. Catch you on the water sometime. P.S. Noticed one of your tattoo's - do you roll? Yats

Hey man, what seat do you use? I'm finding it hard to find a good seat for the 400 in the UK. Yours looks the 💣
