I don't like fasting Everyone that reads this who is a Christian please pray that I would learn to love fasting. I need to fast more often and longer Thank you ♥️🙏✝️
It requires God's grace to do it. Ask God for the grace to complete one fast and how long your fast should be and do that.
Not everyone loves it but Jesus Christ said "when you fast.....but not if you fast...so it's not optional.
Start slow by skipping breakfast not eating for 3 hrs after a while your body get use to it the skip breakfast and lunch staying hydrated throw water. Also crew mint gum it helps. You got this 👍The holy spirit will keep you full as well.
I dont think any of us like it. lol..But sometimes when we are really desperate for a breakthru or really need Jesus to come through for us in our lives it can be a powerful tool combined with prayer!! And Jesus usually gives you the strength and leading for that.
God bless your heart for being vulnerable with your struggle with fasting. God will grant you grace to fast unto him. Start small, like skipping a meal. Then when the hunger pangs sets in, pray and re channel your thoughts towards God. Also remember that the hunger we feel, may not be actual hunger as the body has enough food stored for weeks!
Our supposed hunger is because of our subconscious default. The brain is used to getting food at set times and will send the signals for food?
We have to fight that feeling of expectation.
The devil will fight us when we fast. Perhaps you start to crave certain foods or see more food adverts etc. it’s all part of the journey.
Start small. You can do this 🙏🏽💕

i fast everyday at least 16 hrs. and only eat 1 full meal a day, for several years now, and it does help a lot physical. mental and spiritual fitness.
Those are ROOKIE numbers. I only eat on Saturday no later than 6pm.

As for one meal a day, now that's super hard to do. I could go with only two if I tried though.

I fasted 40 days without food
When I became a Nazirite. I
felt The Holy Spirit enter Me
after I was empty of all waste.
Clean on the inside.
Not all people can do this though it is wonderful to the Lord you accomplished this but, people have died w/ there children trying to accomplish this. If someone fasts for 40 day we should at least drink water. God Bless you 🙏 ❤️
at that time you have beter health than i so it will work for you ... back in a days i was starving with my family memembers ..because my FAther and other people involvement in my Mom situation ...those people are devilish in their body suits/skin/bones loves to destroy everything what they cant have or touch.. example : as narcs do. and because of this we all suffer together starved and our health go low/immune system got damaged .....
i will tell you these : be beter not prideful but happy that God Lord Yeshua did help you there when you achive it not by your own strengh but by only God Lord Yeshua Strengh amen.
i did prayed everyday when was bad days and when was good days , im thankful all the time to Lord Yeshua when even i comeplained i did repented from my immaturity or not understaning or have not much wisdom at that time but when i asked with deep pure wish, i recieve understaingand wisdom for my question and frustation and complains .
so what im saying be glad not be proud because God Almighty hates pride amen. GBY in MIGHTY Name Lord Yeshua amen.

Wow I did it for 30 days. On the 30th day I felt pure bliss
All the people talking about their fast in the comment section , the video clearly said “ fasting is to get Gods attention “ but “ if you are fasting to show others and tell others… that will be your reward”. If you keep it to yourself you gain Gods attention. Try again without telling anyone about it
Says not to do it for that reason, doesn’t say don’t say you did.
@@derailddodge8471 but when to talk about it that is your reward, I’m simply trying to encourage others to try and not say anything about it and see where that leads you. Also a lot of people do things say things without them knowing. Remember Paul Romans 7:17 “ For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.”

Makes sense , I only eat once a day , sometimes after a week ... no wonder I pick up so much spiritually

Start of slowly . May be fast 1 meal a day . . . Then 2 . . . Then 3 . Or you can do a Daniel fast . There are many different types of fasts . You have to determine which works for you and be careful not to get into religiousity . . God sees and knows your heart . . .
Take appetite suppress tablets outta the workout section in the store. It helps fight hunger
Pour your heart to Jesus and his Heavenly Father and do it in prayer without eating food I tried it many times the first time is not easy but if you repeat it one time a week your body will get used to it it's like training your body or stomach to lose sensation of hunger
Make sure you eat and have a set time eat fruits I truly recommend remember God created every fruit with every seed
Also ask the Holy Spirit to hold you up and strengthen you to fast . . . He is faithful . . .
Focusing on God, brings God to you.
Whatever method you use, is fine.

God almighty this is a great video priceless, I went 24 and 1/2 hours without food or water while working my regular job outdoors in the sun driving a semi truck it was difficult but I did it for God the 24-hour fast only consuming water is a fairly easy fast. Will God bless me more if I consume no food or water opposed to only consuming water

I literally woke up with a heavy heart and confusion as I've been going through some difficulties. While getting off my bed I asked myself why not just pray, why fast?
