An interesting mechanic in some other asym games that I think Dbd can learn from is the "Killer's knowledge advantage". With this, the timer to be ready up for survivors is 15 seconds short than for killers, giving time for them to adjust to any last-second changes. It'd fix a lot of the problems with some toxic survivor setups without impacting regular survivor play much.
I’ve never played DBD, but I like watching it now and then, but man Oni looks like so much fun, he’s definitely a killer I’d like to play as.
He makes it look easy tho, oni is hard as hell to get good with lmao

Really should be that survivors get one item/loadout switch once they are in a match queue and doing so pushes back the countdown and un-ready’s everyone. Should get a pop up “so-and-so is changing loadout, do you wish to as well?” and if you select no you’re locked with what you got. It’d help at least somewhat with bully squads by giving the killers a chance to adjust

I remember my first bully squad. Turning their perks against them cause of the hoot hoot build. Plaything, fearmonger, hex face the darkness, and hysteria. They couldnt see cause of add ons and perks and couldn't hear cause of add ons and perks and couldnt run cause of perks. All the while they thought they could click me and hoot hoot me. But I went hoot hoot on them.
As long as they don't do gens it's fun to mess around with them ngl

i flashlight switch at the last second but not out of toxicity but cause every time i don't the killer equips lightborn so then my flashlight or event flashlight is wasted if i don't escape.

Would be nice if the devs did something against this. Maybe if you join a game with friend only one item of any kind is allowed. So only one flashlight, one medkit.

Tried killer after playing survivor to get enough BP to level all my unlocked killers to at least pres 1. The bully squad I went against didn't expect the perks I had. Haha.
last second switchers is why they need to make it so survivors cant switch once qued and in lobby like killers cant
except survivors are completely different compared to killers, it's just skins after a prestige and even then there are three loadouts you can use.

Because instead of just separating Swf and solo queue to their own modes, and balancing the game, respectively to each mode we are going to instead continue down the cycle of bully squads being too oppressive to nerfing survivor until killer is too oppressive. But I realize developers like doing things the easy way and not the efficient way.

If you going to be a bully squad at least one of you have to be smart enough to do the objective so that you’ll have a chance to escape. Otherwise you’ll all just die eventually. That first team only got one gen done because they were too busy t-bagging, flashlight spamming, and body blocking the hook. Someone has to be the gen bitch while the others distract the killer by looping.

tbh i'll take a bully squad over a genrush squad any day. if you stick it out, you can figure out what the bullies are doing and counteract or avoid them, oftentimes they'll even make mistakes that let you get more downs/hooks/kills. much more fun than multiple gens popping faster than i can cross the map
If they're a good bully squad, they'll rush gens first and then have fun with you. That's why early hooks are key...

I played against a bully squad while I was playing Trapper. I am in no means good or even decent as a killer but, I was able to win because they 3 Genned themselves and made several mistakes as they grew more cocky towards the end
Who else thinks they shouldn’t be allowed to change their loadout while matchmaking? It would be make bully squads like the last one a lot more counterable
Sad that most of these people's fun in Dead By Daylight is trying to make others angry. It's always the most long and boring games with these squads.
