With that APU temp sensor it may just need to be replaced. In the meantime you can carefully pull off the connector and look for any green corrosion inside the connector or at the base on the outside. Overtime that salt on the road in the winter can work its way in there and cause corrosion. Especially if you move it around or push the connector in a certain way and then it starts to work. It's a clear sign of a possible bad wire or connector itself. Lots of y t videos out there to show you how to fix it yourself. good luck
