Good that he left her in the end, she doesn't deserve him. When you start having feelings for someone else when you are married thats the end of marriage.
He didn't deserve her. Maybe it's because the story is framed from his perspective but a lot of people forget he chose this case because he wanted to earn the respect of his colleagues and not be seen as a drug addicts son. He put them in danger if he didn't choose this case due to his own ego all the trauma and horror never would have happened.
@@thandondlovu5392what's his fault for getting disrespect from society is just bcoz of his dad's crimes ,his work not being able to recognise by the society though he is sincere officer,u can watch his deleted introduction scene , senior officers chosen him bcoz he is one who can complete the mission bcoz he is ambitious, sincere and ruthless when it comes to his job ...it's not his fault though and u wants drug dealers to continue the drugs selling and ruining the society..what he did is crct he cleaned the evil drug dealing and dealers by becoming evil ...and shown some humanity for gicheol in the end and saved her wife guilt on gicheol's death...and if he didn't take the case there no drama and story ..

@thandondlovu5392 at the very beginning of the film it was clearly shown that HER family didn't respect him and first of all, he wanted to prove something to her family, not colleagues. He did it because he loved her and he wanted her family to start to respect him. Her father teased him about his rank, that's why he agreed when they offered him 2 degrees higher for this special task
Any one who says that he is at fault clearly didn’t watch the show cuz if u have the smallest amount of common sense u would see that he did everything in his power to keep the job going without affecting his love life that much i know he was with that girl but he suggested to keep some distance and he did just enough with her to keep her hocked on and get information from her were as his wife LITERALLY fell in love with him even when the mission ended thats why i hated her even though ALMOST everything up to that point that she did with the gangster made sense (key word almost because she did questionable things before the end) but what she did after was unacceptable

even though park junmo and his wife eui jung both technically cheated on each other with other people for this investigation, I only question the wife. She truly looked like she had lingering feelings for gi cheul the more time she spent with him. Maybe she regrets leaving him behind so she feels like she has a duty to make it up to him. Either way, when park junmo kissed haeryun (bibi), he thought of his wife and only kissed her for the purpose of doing his job. Eui jung's kiss with gi cheul looked like it happened for a more personal intent. I think both characters have their flaws, but I'll be less harsh to junmo as his morals are perceived by the audience in a just and right way.
