Not tried a blender but think I might need to invest and this one seem pretty decent.
It definitely is worth it if you really will put it to use. This is in the higher end spectrum, but well worth it so far.

hi Brian, I ordered the Heritage 750, but they sent me one with black plastic sides, it wasn't metal like yours. I am in the process of returning it. Vitamix said they will send me the brushed silver one, but every time I asked if it was solid metal, the agent skirted the issue. I don't know what to think. I haven't placed the order yet, I still have to return this one and wait for the return of my money, so I can buy the metal one.
Hopefully you get it sorted out and they send you the correct one.
The metal versions have been discontinued. Only ones available are a all black and a Pearl grey. I have the Pearl grey on order. Both are plastic.
@@rexoliver7780 I thought the Pearl Grey was metal? Which ones are the metal verisons?
