As a miniature artist, I can tell you that some dollhouse furniture, or other items, can be just as expensive as the real thing. Sometimes more expensive, if the miniatures are made from a certain artist or are vintage. However, that TV stand is one of the cheap brands of dollhouse furniture and the person should’ve known.
Exactly. Hell, even custom keyboard buttons can go for $80 each.
I'm a miniaturist, I make almost everything I put in my witch houses, but every now and then I'll take a trip to Amazon or etsy to complete sets.
The mat from the gentleman costs about 5 euros and is pretty good quality for a 1/12th scale house.
But Charlotte is right, you shouldn't buy anything if you're not sure you'll be reimbursed in case of error or deception.

Almost Every single time I see people complain about size issues in the review sections of products like these, if you actually read the full item description, the size is specified.
Right. Plus, check the reviews. I have never been misled, and I used to be an Amazon addict.

I’ve made those fat yarn blankets before and it’s literally using your own arms to hold the yarn as you knit (transfer yarn loops from one arm to another and back). It gives your arms a huge workout but the payoff is a super cozy blanket. It takes lots of yarn and practice.

@cheeky miss, there aren’t any kits for these big yarn projects but there’s both books and videos to follow to make chunky yarn creations. Type in “Chunky Yarn Blanket: Arm knitting” here on You Tube to get step by step instructions and what type of yarn you should buy. (There’s a huge chunky yarn selection at Michael’s now and online) It takes practice. You should get better with time.
Yeah but you need about 10 skeins and at $15 each it’s an expensive blanket.
Before the pandemic, I refused to buy ANYTHING online. I’ve never been comfortable paying for anything I can’t physically look at in person, but I had to overcome that fear unfortunately. 😤

I’m the same way. I only order stuff that is consistent in quality such as diaper wipes and baby clothes and baby food. Everything else I buy in person.
My mom once brought those little "carpets" from Middle East. They are ment to be used under a glass or cup. Mine are really cute turquoise/teal colored.
They're a traditional souvenir in Turkey, made to imitate the design of famous kilims
This is why I read all the reviews for everything I buy, cause I’m paranoid😂
I only read the bad or negative ones (especially on Ebay). They tell more about potential issues than good reviews do. If an Ebay seller has a few packages go missing when shipping from China I might take a chance. If they don't send what the buyer purchased I steer clear.
Just make sure the reviews are not from the site thats selling the stuff!!

Sites like wish can’t be trusted. The seller can deny reviews. It’s probably why most products have barely any reviews meanwhile wish is one of the most used apps

I find as long as you (1) read reviews carefully, especially reviews with pictures and (2) know your measurements and use the size charts, you rarely get duped. I've have only had 1 'fail' and it was because the fabric looked okay, but felt awful and scratchy.

@@dancingpigmonkey There are eBay sellers who bundle the mouse pad, 4 square coasters and a long rectangular bookmark in the same tapestry pattern. I have no idea why these three very different use items should match.

Son did this for Halloween! It’s was hilarious! He stated off sitting on the porch slumped and then would move to hand out candy, then after he went walking around.
That picture isn't from a real stuffed animal, it's from a video where a guy dressed as a giant stuffed bear and was still until his girl or wife came in and then he moved and scared her! I would say allot of these are actually faked!

The only time I ordered something from Wish (a bracelet), it said it was on it's way a few days later. I waited...and waited. A year and a half went by and I finally received it. By then I had completely forgotten about it. The only good part was that it was actually a cute bracelet, and I wear it often. I guess if you are either a very patient or forgetful person, Wish is for you :D
The fun part about wish is you never know what you're gonna get! I ordered a cat toy for my cat and instead I got a black feathered riding crop. Cat still lived it though
Unfortunately wish is not to blame. Canada post has lost some of my parcels for them to show up after I was reimbursed for all. That is one of the Great things about wish they will refund if your order is super late or hasn't shown up at all.
I've actually never gotten something different from what I've ordered haha. I just always read reviews before I buy anything online

I was looking at dog toys on Amazon the other day. Someone left a bad review because the item did not come with the 5 balls as advertised. There was a picture of a dog with a tennis ball on 4 sides of the box and the top in the image...... The ad clearly stated no balls included, read it people!!
My online experiences have literally been 99% awesome. There must be several hundred reviews. Preferably thousands and I will read a huge percentage of those. I also make sure that I take the time to find the dimensions and the material. If I'm purchasing from a third party vendor I will try to find the actual manufacturer to gather more information. Whenever I see that someone has purchased furniture and it comes in child size I always blame the purchaser. People are so quick to hop on a bargain they forget to use common sense. Don't order clothing from Asia if you are the average size American and get upset when the dress fits you like a t-shirt!
Ditto. Read the product description, limit to 4 stars and 1K reviews, then check the key (Most Helpful?) reviews and even on Chinese clothes no problem. And I was an Amazon addict who hates stores even before Covid. I even had experiences where Home Depot guy recommended some stuff that cost $200 to cover the area. Before opening it, I went on Amazon where it was trashed and I was led to $40 worth that was a charm. Of course, I returned the HD crap lol.
I’ve ordered clothes from wish before. The key is to look for customer pics and reviews. Lol I’ve definitely had hit and misses. Love these videos!

The wish shopping app is a smorgasbord of "WTF..i didnt order this!."
If I order from Wish, it's totally a crap shoot as to what I will get (except their hooded tops, they are awesome), but also Wish has a habit of just sending me random things. No way of telling what it was supposed to be or who it came from. They literally just send me random crap now. Love it XD

I actually got my fave dress from Aliexpress! i usually rather avoid ordering clothes from there but it looked really pretty so I decided to risk it. Amazingly well made, really good fabric - probably even better than you would get from like H&M osmth ....I got really lucky there.

Secret to ordering online, check reviews! I bought a dress for my civil union a few years ago from dhgate. The dress was not only gorgeous, but it was affordable. Take the time to read buyer reviews before purchasing.

If you search "pug wave tapestry" it's the first result to show up! Right now it's $13 with $7 shipping to your place or $4.20 ship to store. The prices tend to change fairly frequently though!

Please don't buy a pug though. They are such inbred, unhealthy dogs, they suffer with so many health problems, and the vet bills will be so expensive when it needs an operation cause it can't breathe through its "cute" smashed-in nose. Sad but true 😟
Also, individual breeders will try to convince you that their dogs are healthy. Don't believe them, they have a profit incentive to lie. Consider adopting instead.
I know pugs are genetically modified unnatural creatures and I wouldn’t want one but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve love, my daughter thinks they’re the cutest and someday maybe she’ll adopt one herself.
@@charaddy9591 There are many owners who end up rehoming their pug due to the bonkers price you often have to pay at the vets. Insurance companies have their own list of rules on each breed and the most common health complications - those that they simply won't cover because they've been "bred into" the dog if, you will.
So thats one way of many to get your hands one of these potatoes fully deserving of love and care, other than supporting unhealthy breeding.
She could also choose a breeder who's speciality and passion is "breeding out" all these unhealthy physical traits to give them the good life they deserve. Plenty of those breeders out there from what I've heard. I wish your daughter luck! 🍀
To be fair, ordering things from China that have a significant number of positive reviews usually works out. Me and all of my sisters ordered our prom dresses (and one of them ordered her wedding dress) from China, and it worked out perfectly with incredibly fast shipping. So it really comes down to wisely choosing what you order from China, because if they have a lot of good reviews they're probably reliable. However, if they don't have any reviews, maybe don't order that thing.
Exactly! Bought a lot of stuff, incl clothes, on Amazon. Limit the search to the top level. Make sure there are LOTS of reviews-I go to the ones with 1K and up. I read the key reviews and, of course, the product description. No problems ever!
Yes, not all are bad! I've never purchased from Amazon but I took the risk of buying my flower girl dresses - 5 of them - off eBay and they were amazing. Like really well made, looked better than the photo and they were only $25 each.
