Does anyone know if there is a way to add a shortcut for turning mobile date on and off? Even with toggle apps I've installed I still have to go through the settings menu. It's a pain in the ass.

Thanks for taking the time to review. After owning it for awhile I must correct a couple things you said in the video. The screen glass is junk. First time I dropped it only about a foot or so the screen spidered. I do love the phone though. Second thing I also own a ZTE Zmax 2 and the camera and video recorder on this Samsung is leagues above the one on the ZMAX2. Not only are the pics much sharper but low light recording and picture taking is way better. The Samsung blows away the ZMAX2 also in the audio recording dept. It does not fart out and distort at concerts like the ZTE does.
Overall good review and a great phone in my opinion. I wish the glass was a little more robust but I dont mind having to buy a new one when I make the mistake of dropping it.
Does this phone let you use adaptable storage for apps?

How many apps can you install that part already on your phone
I am a first time smart phone buyer, after having a simple Nokia voice phone for 10 yrs (with original battery!) These old 2G phones were built to last. I greatly appreciate your reviews. Based on what ATT is offering me for a new Gophone, I'm leaning toward the ZTE Zmax 2.
Thank you for your feedback Larry, much appreciation and gratitude, after owning both of these phones I think the ZTE offers a better Value for money, the camera is better, the screen is bigger, build feels more expensive, and its quicker, I think you will be happy with either devices, but you get more phone for less money with the ZTE Zmax 2 as long as you can live with not having the name brand phone.
I'm guessing you'd still put the ZTE Zmax 2 above this phone?
Why can't you assign ringtones your contacts on the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime
As a newbie and entry level phone I would like to know about mobile data. I have the go phone $45, 3gb month plan. Do I leave this feature on or off? What will drain my data and what will not? I understand GPS drains data but that's all I know. Thanks,

Is there an ir thing to control tvs
i have the microsoft 640 windows phone is it worth switching to the express prime or should i stick with the windows phone? both of these phones are gophones btw
depending on what you use. for me, the windows phone is a bit better techwise, yet limited due to the Microsoft app store barely having any apps, compared to google play.

I have an LG phoenix 2 and looking into the Samsung express prime basically for better battery and processor. would it be worth the switch?
*NO.* The battery life on the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime is very poor. If I leave it on standby, I must recharge it every day. I am disappointed with the battery life. Nearly every 5 minutes the battery life goes down by 1%. I spoke to a person at a phone store and he told me his Samsung phone does the same thing. *I was never told this by any reviewer.*

Hi Nick, I just had a quick question, because honestly I am not tech savvy at all! But I was wondering with this go phone, does it allow you to download and use the apps such as Instagram, Facebook, snapchat etc? As it would with an iPhone? I'm asking this Bc I bought a Windows go phone awhile back and it didn't even offer the same app selections, which sucked! So I just wanted to make sure this phone does offer those apps, before I go ahead and purchase it... Also between this phone and the Zte Max 2, which do you prefer is better? Hello there, this phone will handle all of those things that you mentioned with ease. Windows Phone is dead right now, I'm optimistic about a comeback, but presently, just no. I would honestly recommend the ZTE Zmax 2 over this device if you were choosing between them. Why you may ask? Cheaper price, larger screen, better grip, feels more expensive, quicker operating system. If you really want the Samsung however it's not a bad choice, although the camera is a little bit disappointing, the ZTE Zmax 2 offers a better camera :)

Since none of the apps were even available in their so called market. It was so disappointing, But with these go phones, it's a better alternative than dropping $300-$700, etc on a phone, especially since I'm the type to lose & damage phones more frequently than usual people. I bought this phone after my s7 got lost and I'm using it for the time being until I get my new s7. Overall for the price, it really is a great phone. I like to stream videos and the quality is actually pretty good. Obviously not as great as the s7 but still relatively close. I recommend this phone to those on a budget who enjoy good screen resolution. Cheers to Samsung for stepping it up a notch.
Can a watch connect to it?
I have the express prime 2 and it shoots video in excellent 1080p but it can only watch youtube videos in 720p so idk

No, I have looked at this phone in the at&t store when it was on display and those buttons do not light up!

Great review. I think its not a bad phone, specially for that price, but camera should be better and bottom buttons should be backlighted.
Not much of bloatware but I think this phone should cost no more than $100. Plus for filming location, I like Montrose Beach too.

Help ! I got this phone today and I can't put a password on it. :( I already put the password myself but it doesn't even ask me for my password and just lets me in.

+Darlene Paul Actually this is pretty much the same phone as the J3, I would say a solid update over the Grand Prime Darlene.
+Nick Ackerman Only differences I found were express is 1.3 ghz and j 3 is 1.2 however the j3s camera is 8&5 where express is only 5 & 2.That could be a significant point to those who want great photos.By the way samsung galaxy j3 is only $199 right now on Boost Mobile.

I just bought this phone a couple of weeks ago and I am loving it so far no noticeable lags or glitches and great battery life you can easily get through a full day with this phone and I've gotten through 2 days with lite usage the only thing I don't really like about this phone is the camera but for the price this is defiantly a great phone

It may not be too fast, BUT compared to the ZTE ZMax 2 the volume on the ZTE is really bad. So I'd take a 5 megapixel phone on the this phone rather than the ZTE.

The only thing that bothered me about this phone was they keyboard. Download the Google Keyboard. It's much better also, set the vibration for 50 milliseconds.

I've had this phone for a year now. I can say that it's pretty simple to use. It's just a basic, good phone. However, I'm about to get a J6 plus, but, as I was saying, is a basic, good phone.

ive had this phone for over a year and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. got extremely laggy after only a month and is barely usable now.

i own this phone. very good phone for the price I can't complain for under $100 bucks. definitely an intermediate device.
Returned it next day. bought more out of curiosity. I liked the size and weight, but the screen glass was trash. mystery glass with no oleophopic coating.

+Nick Ackerman There's certainly good things about it. size and weight, replaceable battery, performance was passable for the cost, good display for cost (HD amoled), SD card support, and so on. But the glass and camera were a buzzkill.

I bought this as a temporary phone. I've been using it for few weeks now and it's terrible. Very laggy. Extremely laggy. I've even had a few times where it completely froze up. If you're looking for a cheap good phone...there are way better options. Just ordered a S7 and got a Samsung wireless charging case for free.

Unfortunately, no, unless your phone is only slow because it's maxed out on storage. RAM (Internal memory), and storage memory are different. RAM helps the phone run applications faster, storage only affects how much you can store on the phone in total. Hope this helps.
