I came to Jesus by the group fred Hammond and Commission in 1994 been listening to them every since. God is good. This song brought me through in 2004 when my 25 year old son was killed. Jesus ministered to me through this song no more loneliness. Thank you guys for staying in the fight., and allowing God to continue to use you.❤

Commissioned is not just the result of great songwriting prowess, talent or airtight vocals, Commissioned is also and more importantly the result of a group of men who decided early on to brush aside ego, personal prestige and personal praise and focus on "themselves individually" for a more worthwhile and higher calling.........Ministry. They are awesome!! Though several of the members have become highly acclaimed solo artists, they are still best to me as "Commissioned" IMHO.
You can see and feel how much they love their calling. I can’t express how much this group blessed and encouraged me as a new babe in Christ. I will never forget these talented men of God.

Wow I needed this....I been listening to "STILL COMMISSIONED, the songs of MITCHELL JONES for 2 months straight and been down with them from day 1. As a teenager my dream came true and that was to meet COMMISSIONED...not only did I meet them, but we hung out together when they came to Houston...before the show and after the show...this was right after Mitchell was delivered from that accident where he injured his hand severely. We have a lot in common not just as believers, but Mitchell and Fred are both Veterans and so am I. I'm a Former Marine Veteran who served two combat tours in Iraq and by the grace of God and songs from COMMISSIONED that I use to listen to in a Combat environment, I stayed focused. I’m so grateful for their ministry. They were the Christian Brother friends I wanted when I was a teenager and didn’t have- to take that part of the journey with me. Because of them though, I was not lonely.
They really did have a way of reminding you that, Jesus is always by your side. They certainly do feel like my big brothers. Just to hear their voices gave me comfort.
