But Galaxytrail decided that Freedom Planet shouldn’t be a sonic fan game so they made it its own thing and they had a kickstarter campaign for it to become its own thing and it was great success so now Freedom Planet and Lilac are their own things and not related to Sonic in the slightest minus the games gameplay.
