Great video. Is there an option to NOT use the washlet for those guests who just don't want to? Maybe as simple as unplug? But then will the water fill the bowl? Also, will the washlet fit any kind of toilet (oval or round) - perhaps that's why the washlet can be adjusted on the track?
I bought the Toto c100 as my first bidet after countless amounts of research with other different brands and I ended up settling with this one.
I have 2.5 bathrooms in my house and bought 1 for all of them including new toilets the were high efficiency because I needed to solve my water problem and have had them for the last 3 months.
When I say these bidets have changed my life and my families lives, I really mean they changed them!!!
I will never go back to toilet paper as it cleans absolutely EVERYTHING and when you think your done it releases the leftovers after a wash having you wash a second time for a thorough clean and it doesn’t waste water because it only uses 0.1gpm of water!!!!!! Nor does it hog electricity especially when you put it in energy saver mode!!!
And it’s super easy to clean and most importantly, NO MORE SLAMMING TOILET SEATS!!!
This is definitely an awesome quality product that is worth the money to buy!

Help!! You made it look so easy and everything was fine except my seat didn't slide in very easily. I still can't get it on

Yours was the easiest to follow among all the other youtube videos for installing Toto. I have a Toto SW2044 but it was similar enough.
Very clear and helpful video. I found that with a new American Standard one piece toilet I couldn't screw in the cold water feed to the gray interface pipe supplied by Toto after it was attached to the toilet because the shape of the toilet was too constricting to turn the coupling. Solution: Attach the feed to the gray interface first and then attach to the toilet.
Hi, Is there anyone has the issue to push the A-7 (Black tube into the hole)?

Thank you soooo much for the video! I also noticed that if the rubbers on the screws are too big for the screw holes on the base, you can use a knife to whittle them a little and put some oil to help them get in places easier. This happened to me and I panicked for a moment haha.

does the toto have the same plumbing attachments in most countries?
I want to order one but i'm in new zealand, I can use a transformer for the power plug as it's different but just want to make sure everything else would be the same.
Any update if you ever encounter problems of hard water?
3 concerns about this interesting product. Leaks, flooding my entire main floor with a faulty, cheap plastic, worn out water source attachment piece due to constant water pressure. Hydro costs, does it only warm the water when you sit down or is it heated on demand? How do you clean the underside of the seat, full removal required? Thanks for your time and video post.
I have not had any leaks at all. I would only buy Japanese (or possibly Korean) products like this due to their superior quality.
The water is heated pretty constantly, but the seat actually remembers when you use it and adjusts accordingly. For example, in the night it might be a little colder, but if you regularly use it at 8:00am then the seat will ensure it’s ready. I have not noticed an increase in energy costs.
Cleaning the underside of the seat is the same as any other toilet seat.

I installed the Toto and the seat somewhat wiggles . Although I did hear the click and have tightened the screws. Any suggestions?
Did you get the correct shape? Elongated vs. round? Is the wiggle due to the offset seat pads that I mention at the end?

If you can get an electrical outlet in the bathroom. I don’t think anyone would install one though.
And what was the purpose to flash water from tank? Water is shot off and tank is not involved in installation
You flush the tank to make sure the water is shut off completely. If the tank doesnt fill then that lets you know the water is off
Tom! I have been trying to see the electrical inputs for the toilet. Have you have any electrical issues due to the japan to US change? Japan normal electricity output is about 220volts while US is about 110volts, Is the toto C100 electrical input range permissible for the 110volts? If the voltage does not match then you might get issues such as fires/ect. even if it does not match you could always buy a separate voltage transformer to change to the appropriate level, which are also decently cheap. any thoughts please?
This one is made for the US market, as everything on the Toto is in English, not Japanese. Likewise voltage.
Japan normal electricity is 100 volts, with frequencies that are either 50 or 60 Hz.

Just bought one today, and will be taking it back to Norway. Will I need a transformer 240V -> 100V, or do you think it’ll be okay with just an adapter?
If needed, do you have any recommendations?

Oooo I am not sure about the transformer. I would expect an adapter to be enough, as that’s what they are for, but I would check with someone who knows more than I do! Solid effort though bringing one back to Norway! 🇳🇴

It is around two weeks that the biden of washlet works once I turn a little bit the handler of flush tank. Otherwise, the water does not spray and the lound sound is arised similar to the shaking of the building's pipe. Is the waslet dead end? Thank you so much for your consideration.
I have the exact same bidet. It has a funny smell after 2-3 years of use. I could finally see the filter for the first time and it was full of lint. Is that how you take the funny smell off? Or is there another way? I am pregnant and I cannot tolerate the smell anymore.

No problems at all! Just the wire that looks a bit unsightly
So I am in Japan now about had enough after 7 years, so how about the voltage issue 100v Japan 120v US are you having issues with that? Or if anyone else can address this please let me know! ありがとうございました❗️

I have read on many forums that people have had the Japanese washlets have been in their US homes for years without problems. Just Google it and a forum will come up.
Thank you for this tutorial! We also lived in Japan and we bought one before going back to the US and we are trying to install it now. Unfortunately the 3 thingy adaptor that we have doesn’t fit the water supply hose so we have to go home depot now to hopefully get one that fits.
Can i ask how much did you pay for it in Japan?

Interesting video. However, that wiring makes me a bit nervous. I wouldn't really want to be having a wash next to an electrical cable / socket. I don't think that's legal in the UK. I also brought back a Panasonic washlet from Japan to the UK. If you're willing to pay an electrician he can cut the plug cord and drill a tidy hole for it to be threaded into another room. He can then re-connect the plug with an extended cord to be plugged into the nearest socket. Therefore, it's powered from another room and is much safer that way. However, it depends on the set up of your place. Luckily enough I had a cupboard next to my bathroom that had plug sockets so it worked out.
