Well after K-pop a Korean entertainment popularity and many of their fans becoming koreaboos obsessed with every thing Korean, Korean UA-camrs also made their own name and tried to be a part of it. Now they’re nationalistic, want to move back to their mother country even if they were born abroad… . I remember there was this American-Korean guy who said the time he was a kid Korea wasn’t a famous country and actually no one knew where it was! His Korean mom never tried to teach her her language and wanted him to be a fully American to fit in, but after the development of the south Korea’s industry after 2000s and the boom of K-pop it also became a well known name now their new generation are born in a country that is progressing with famous entertainment industry so they learn naturally to be nationalists, love their own mother tongue, food culture and fashion instead of trying to be like others. The situation and wealth of a country has a lot to do with how it’s youth feel about it.
Yes, I'm really glad she reunited with her💞💝 family, at least they have tried to Supported her with the Restaurant, Love 2 See her with her Mum again!😇🙏🥰💖💞🏵🌷🌼🌹🫖🍵
The red bean porridge is interesting. My biggest problem with red bean desserts is the paste consistency. But the porridge looks like a texture my brain can handle
Your voice is always so pleasing. Love the quirky english puns. No one ever really gets mine right away either. Lol. A meal with you is like an adventure. Every step is a hidden gem of taste and texture. Wish I had the time to watch more of your videos.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey dooby!! Ever since I first started watching you (lockdown days) I always thought u looked like someone but couldn’t pinpoint to who exactly. And finally I found out who. To me lol you kinda look like Sistars Bora
Did anyone notice this place looks similar from 'See You In My 19th Life' Kdrama!!? I mean where they’re eating, the place looks the same as where Ban Ji-Eun & her past life's niece lived!!
Recently saw the movie "Masquerade" and the king always had the porridge only so that his maids could be well fed by having the rest. Always wondered how it tasted. They even presented it exactly the same way as in this video.
I think I would struggle a lot in Korean when it comes to sweets. I'm a very straightforward person: give me CHOCOLATE. Like a lot of chocolate, that cheap, super sweet stuff like Milka, Ferrero Rocher, Toblerone, Snikers lol
I’m glad to see dooby reuniting with her family 🥺 she mentioned a while ago they were not on speaking terms I think
you think? they almost disowned her lmao. but i agree

Love how dooby can be aesthetic and also sprinkle some humour in there.
Thought I saw drool hanging on her lip in the thumbnail. Actually resembled something else, but can’t say that. 😅

Love seeing you and your mother together ❤
I'm glad to see that you and your mum have been spending quality time together
"Kinda like your moms toes"💀😭
That made me bust out laughing when she said that 😂
I'll have you know my toes are quite supple.
My toes are curled.
I shouldn't be here. Ty.
I thought she said toast 😂
Better than your dad’s toes. 😅
Am I the only one that really appreciates how much she appreciates her Korean culture?
Koreans tend be very nationalistic and their culture is pretty admired by a lot of people around the world, so it’s not a surprise

That crumbly rice cake looks exactly like an indian desert called Sheera which is crumbly and super sweet (and yes steamed too)

It looks Japanese but yet didn’t know Korea had this kind of stuff gotta try it one day✌️

She looks like Han hye-joo..o my gosh
Damn it’s so similar to some Japanese sweets. I love bean and rice based desserts
The Japanese colonized Korea
Because they both were inspired by the chinese
