I just know that I'm probably gonna give myself snakebites before I get my braces off, so thanks for the advice. I've been fighting this temptation for over 2 years and I'll probably get pierced by March 2023 (maybe even before then).
@@tulinhcao1699 I'm doing a lot better now (and I hope I'll stay that way). I pierced myself on the evening of October 6th, 2022 after my orthodontist appointment that day (had to get the left snakebite repierced through scar tissue in the exact same spot on December 2nd, 2022 after it fell out 3 days after I pierced it). My orthodontist told me that I'll probably get my braces off in May, and so far, I've had no problems with my snakebites other than my original left one falling out, especially after downsizing the bars.
Probably not, especially if the piercings have been downsized to a shorter bar, which won't going to move around as much as the initial swell bars will.
I really wished I watched this before using Listerine, I feel like my piercing is hurting more then it did before ;-; I only used it once so I hope it doesn't get infected
Husky jimenez your supposed to use half Listerine and half water...get a water bottle and fill it half way up with Listerine and the other half with water...I have my lip pierced and don’t have any problems with Listerine but that’s due to my piercer telling me to do half and half. It makes a big difference, trust
Also having wax might be able to help it not get caught in the wire
