Phalanx states during the next standby phase special summon the monster to the owners side of the field. Since it’s a trap I’m assuming your using it on your opponents turn. So that would mean the next standby phase would be your own. Not your opponents.
The best way to play is resonator package with the Horus cards probably, sets up free barrone that can protect your crimson dragon play w Imsety and vision resonator is a good pitch for field spell or imsety too
Just to mention you can emet VI effect when making the crimson dragon, it means your opponent can nibiru you on their own turn but it puts trudea as a trap to add follow up to your follow up, and they would still be calamity locked when they nib which is fine, the token can probably kill them at that point

I've actually been testing using Centur-ION as an engine for springans and since i can do a 5 card package to do a 1 card combo into full board for springans and it just gets better with what cards i have in hand

The best counter for the mirror match is ghost reaper & winter cherries.
Calamity will get banned so no point in play it.

@@Lou-Tenantyeah i agree and there is also cosmic blazar, red super nova, despian etc, so even if he is banned its not the end of the world. But as lokg as centurion doesn’t get insane support in the next sets and just ends up being a side archetype then we have nothing to worry about
Why you are chain 1 with crimson? Cant enemy just do something after first 3,2,1 chain ends?

@@cardsandcoffeetcg no, it does not. In fact some ocg players even play skill drain in centurion. You can activate your effects and then quick synchro, so that all effects still resolve. Also all your Synchros are big. Skill drain does not enough against this deck.
Can Branded Centurion be a tier 1 deck?
I can honestly say I’ve never considered it, definitely worth the test tho!
