The biggest questions I presume I will get are these, so I'll try to answer them here. Q: Why does Scream change from "Unknown" to "Mimic 2 Scream" for that one line? A: The idea is that she gets on Osean radio channels to threaten Trigger. Prior to this, she and Rage are on their own radio channel, and for stylistic reasons they appear as Unknown. When Scream goes on Osean channels to threaten Trigger, her name and portrait is thus revealed to the audience. It's mainly a stylistic choice. In this playthrough, I got the version of the retreat dialogue where Rage does not ask "Hey, what are you doing?!" in response to Scream doing this, but the dialogue at the very end ensures that both Mimics are always revealed to the player/audience. Q: Why are the EA-18Gs named "Orthrus?" A: Technically, that isn't correct. However, it's something I decided to keep. When voice lines for the DLC were initially datamined, one of them stood out: "Orthrus, this is Magician. Commence barrage jamming now. Cue the music!" While we now know this to be cut dialogue for the OADF EW planes over Oured in SP03 that jam Torres's guidance system, the initial assumption was that, given that the line references barrage jamming, that this line refers to the Erusean jammer aircraft, with perhaps a cut "Orthrus 1 Magician" character being the speaker. The name Orthrus stuck, though, so that's why they're named Orthrus on the HUD.
I haven't even played the original AC7 and I'm in AWE of the work you've done on this. Good lord. Keep fighting that good fight; you're making true art.
I'm excited too! After working on it for so long after missing the last deadline I set for myself, I really wanted to make something special. I can only hope that what I've created will make people happy. I may or may not end up doing videos for the other SP missions prior to release, but we'll have to see on that front. The reason I never did more was... well, there were multiple reasons. Namely burnout from working on the mod so much, changes being made so rapidly that videos would be out of date, and a desire to work on the mod rather than make showcase videos. "Better to get it out to the people rather than make videos of something people won't be able to play for a very long while" was more or less my thought process. At this point, though, it's undergoing final QA testing and revisions, and a release date is set in stone, so I'm more open to doing showcases like this again.
For me, Unexpected Visitor and Project Wingman's Cold War are tied for the arcade flight game franchise's best furballs/mass aerial assaults. Not to mention both tracks slap, and they both got metal renditions from Vincent Moretto
20:43 Glad to know we were supposed to hear this conversation between Clemens, Rage and Scream, but I still wish we had an explanation on why the siblings hated Trigger so much. Villains like them have to have a back story that gives them a reason in wanting to kill the main character.
@@hellsummon I know they were hired to kill Trigger, but I feel like there could’ve been more potential of having a group of villains that have a history with him, instead of being random hired guns with anger issues.
I actually have AC7 (along with Restored, since it's installed the same as any other mod) on an external HDD, and have had it that way since I started developing the mod. Have never had any issues, so I would hazard a guess that SSD and HDD both work fine. I know Enhanced Gunplay had real trouble working on HDDs or something, but I've never had any issues like that with Restored.
Yeah, the reason I asked this was because of Enhanced Gunplay not working on HDD's before it got updated - thanks for letting me know, looking forward for this mod! :D@@calamitousenigma9052

I've been waiting so long for another, and now it is here.
I'm excited for this mod to be released.

not to mention Vincent Moretto's work was good enough for Jose Pavli to want him to work on the Frontline 59 OST with him
@@unwoundsteak17, wait rly? No way!
@@pramusetyakanca1552 yeah he played the guitar parts of Descendants
Wow this looks great. Looking forward to trying it out!
I look forward to the day when I can play with the mods you make.
Ten days! Restored is planned to be released on the 18th.
I always chuckle when I see Long Caster's burger icon
That's a really cool mod you've made
Honestly as much as I love the F-15C the Strike Eagle is definitely a much better fit for the LRSSG

The white sheets are even more crispier here.
Nice missile tracking mod you're using, what is it? Or did you just tweak it so that Trigger's missiles act like they are always under ESM boost?
Enhanced Gunplay
Im a console user, so it doesn't matter, but just out of curiosity, where will it be downloadable from?

An interesting question but something worth asking: do we have to install both AC7 and Skies Restored into an SSD in order for this mod to work?

I thought it was called skies unknown ?
The mod being showcased is called Skies Restored.
