    Went up so fast because of that crappy OSB, plastic siding, foam insulation, plastic fake wood laminated flooring and so on. They dont build houses like this in Europe, places like Hungary and Romania- they use kiln fired red terracotta blocks that are given stucco on the exterior, and terracotta roof tiles.
    Mt friend in Hungary visited the US in the past and she remarked recently that she had wondered how these massive American homes fall apart or burn up so bad and then she saw one under construction and she realized WHY and said they build cheap houses.

      @PlymouthVT Місяць тому

      Exactly. European is all brick and concrete. USA is crappy wood thrown up fast.

      Lots of house here are built with CMU concrete blocks and concrete, they are durable. New codes came in in the early 2000's. You can still build frame not many people do.

    Watching Colton tear out a concrete floor slab is as much fun as pulling up a couple of chairs in Publix in front of their Bread Slicing machine. My Son-In-Law and I just sat there in Publix for about 20 minutes one Saturday watching then slice bread. We're easily amused. Great video, Dave!

    Great insight! people have a detach Gameroom with a bathroom, away from the home.
    When possible, as a back-up plan.

    Really enjoy all the Remove It Pros videos.
    As a suggestion, please lower the volume of the music. Music is ok in the background but
    Too loud in this video.

    It looks like the fire department defeated one house, and kept the other from spreading.
    They left the one in the middle to burn. The neighborhood streets look narrow, it would be hard to get enough resources close enough to fight all three fires at once

    • @removeitprosdemolition
      @removeitprosdemolition  Місяць тому

      Interesting to see a house burned this far. This close to the fire department I bet there was something flammable in the house like gasoline that made it burn faster or maybe nobody noticed it was on fire for a while.

    • @juliecoggins1170

      Maybe an accelerant?
      Most likely a controlled burn out while saving the nearby structures and keeping it from spreading round the circle oh homes.

    How terrible for all of these home owners! Man, that property has such a narrow footprint.
    I’ve lived through floods, fired and tornados. I’m not sure which is worst, cleaning up after a flood or after a fire. They both suck!!!

    when it comes to insurance companies you can bet your gonna get the run around they will check for permits and inspections for the remodel if there was no permits and did not change your insurance to tell them you were in process of remodel they may deny the claim too

    I saw a window with the sticker still on. Could the new windows not be salvaged? Checked this house on Redfin and it sure was gorgeous.

    Surprised to see the pool ripped out as well, it looked ok as far as I could tell from the video. Don't know if its different in the US, but here in New Zealand, insurance would not pay for a new pool if it wasn't damaged by the fire. Same for the paths etc.

    • @removeitprosdemolition
      @removeitprosdemolition  Місяць тому +1

      The owner is getting it ready for a new owner. New house warrants a new pool more up to date. This is a very wealthy place.

    How many hydraulic hoses do you guys replace? Probably a ton. Always can tell when a machine is used in demo.

    That's the problem with having your neighbors so close, I've seen many mini mansions million dollar homes in Fort Myers with no yard, literally homes are steps away from each other, hopefully the owners of this home get some money from the insurance!

      @removeitprosdemolition  Місяць тому

      I would never ever live in an HOA. Prison life has never been something I aspired to, which is where I would wind up if some mini Hitler came up and tried to tell me what to do around my house. Lol.

    Might have had Intruders, they were vaping -- it got out of control.. neighborhood teenagers aren't going to be vaping in their own houses... Might get stumbled in on..... Tradespeople can be notorious for not actually locking things up, or sending unsupervised workers out that don't lock up....LaxvespaLosAngeles
