Hi! Unfortunately we aren't sure of arrival times in Ireland. Order times in the UK are around 3 months (about standard for new vehicles), and will be available to order from early next year.
This looks like a great car from BYD. Great review video, thanks for that. It was super helpful. Are there any exterior differences between the three models e.g. wheels?
We are glad you like it. Great question! There are very few differences looks wise between models (as is the case on most BYDs) The only main difference is the wheels on the comfort are 19" not 20" and don't have the red brake calipers. Other major differences include interior seats which are now Nappa Leather on the Excellence and a new HUD display also on the Excellence. There is also a new Intelligent Torque Adaption Control on AWD models. We are oping to get drivable demos in early January!
Does this model come with an electric steering column and if so, does it also have memory seat buttons/settings where the steering column position is also remembered. My wife and I share our car and our current car has this feature and we love it.

This model wasn't UK specification, when the model arrives in the UK, it will be right hand drive. As for the NFC, your phones settings will be able to dictate whether you need to have the phone unlocked or not to use NFC.

300 miles range is pretty good for the size of the car! And yes the charging time is quicker on the higher spec but fast charging can get you from 10-80 in approx. 32 minutes. Plus, if you're charging overnight, how much does the charging time really matter?
@ agreed, although the real world range will probably be 10-15% less and probably closer to 280. In the charging point, I agree that when charging overnight it’s not really an issue. But for those that travel on a regular basis it seems a strange decision not to have included the faster charging across all variants as standard.
@BwlGog Indeed real world range can vary and sometimes be lower. Let's take 280 with a daily commute of 50miles (which is high), you could do your full working week on one charge! However people don't just go to work, more than likely you will need a charge! We don't know the ins and outs of why models include things and don't but a little bit of planning and one overnight charge could cover you for the week. No need to fast charge which also saves you money! 6 minutes is the difference on a fast charge (30-80%) between the models!
Amazing
It's a very nice car! Good materials for a high end feel inside, and a powerful performance even though it isn't that light!
Nice car wonder when it will arrive in Ireland? How long is order time in the uk. Thanks

A showroom model until the real thing gets here early next year!
Why is the steering wheel on the wrong side 😂
This is just a sneak peek at the SEALION 7, so it' not mde to UK specs yet! Keep an eye out on our socials to see when we'll get the UK version!
Lovely looking car hampered by poor range and slow charging time for all but the top of the range.
