John you may be the first pork roll truck at the shore but you're not the first pork roll joint at the shore. Years ago, many years ago Taylor pork roll had at least one stand on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. Their main sandwich of course was pork roll but they also sold hamburgers. I got addicted as a kid to Taylor pork roll on top of a cheeseburger. It became a favorite sandwich of my entire family for the rest of my life. I also like it cut real thick and then cooked on a barbecue grill until it burns a little. It's absolutely delicious and you are right no other product can stand up to Taylors . Take care.
I'm up in Albany NY and found Taylor Ham Pork Roll at Shop Rite randomly. I've never seen it up here in 22 years living here. I had to recreate the classic for my channel. This truck looks legit.
Seems like that's what you typically get. When I was a kid in the 80's there was a deli down the street that would put a stack of like 6 slices. Don't see them like that anymore unless I make them at home.
