With the elevator freshly modernize it was probably just a simple controller glitch. I had a very similar incident happened to me at the hospital where I had my surgery done on my arm back in 2016. I was heading down to the main floor to check out the gift shop and I was staying on the top floor. When the number changed to the fifth floor there was an abrupt stop just like what you experienced. So I said to my mother that if the elevator didn’t start moving within 30 seconds I was going to press the emergency phone. As I was about to press the emergency phone the elevator let out a tiny jolt and went down to the main floor at levelling speed. So before I went to the gift shop I went straight to security and told them what elevator I was in and what had happened. Ever since that incident they seem to be running just fine.
I know. well, eventually…. I got used to the modernized Westinghouse elevators when I was at the Phillips-Wangensteen Building in the University of Minnesota Minneapolis when I was there, but I never had problems with elevator modernization. I was probably okay with that when the campus’s elevators got modded.
I got stuck in a Schindler elevator about a week ago. The doors totally jammed and could not be opened whatsoever.
Fire department had to come.

Hello sir, goods afternoon thanks for the updates😍😍😍😍
The alarm sounds like an EST Genesis fire alarm.
It does thyssen Krupp used that sound as their alarm
The elevator close doors button always breaks the doors
it's like a thyssenkrupp elevator
But if u were stuck u might have to call 911
phone button dials thyssenkrupp then they send the emergency responders and their maintenance team. wonder why they got the phone.
The elevator stopped for 10 seconds and you already pressed the emergency button
I usually give it a few minuets before doing that.
@@patricknedz u should do it in the first 10 seconds just in case of a free fall or bigger emergency
@@Jackary1232 this isn’t the tower of terror,
Normal elevators don’t usually free fall. That’s a very rare situation.
It apparently didn't like you joyriding
I wonder why Mitsubishi didn’t mod this elevator. I feel like it would be a best mod tbh
Oh my god getting stuck is a problem
The buttons are cute.
I hate mods even though they feel smoother their is still a lot of glitches
dang it I should have tried the alarm at Macy's in Menlo Park mall too bad I didn't lol
No, don't try alarm bells. I pressed the phone button because I was actually stuck.
@@WestCoastElevators but the alarm sounds so cool
2:45
it sounds like my fucking school fire alarm lol
And this is why I don't like Kruppy except for the people
Oh no...
Gets stuck at 2:25 save u time
No
