  • At Beers and Gordon, we are not just two lawyers. We have an entire team that at some point in time, touch your case.
Paralegals handle your case pre-suit. This means before it hits litigation we, the lawyers, look at your case and then send it to the paralegals on our team. They handle communication and sometimes investigations if need be. They will usually communicate with clients via email and occasionally by phone.
Case managers (legal assistants) are a bit different. They start the process of the cases that we know will likely go to litigation. They handle the communication and come to use (lawyers) if needed. To be honest, Kelly, our legal assistant, can answer most questions even if it isn’t a case she’s presently working on.
We try to make sure that our legal assistants have a lot of experience. Their job is multi faceted and there is a wide range of what they handle per case.
We don’t only hire experienced legal assistants because we feel like it’s important to hire young people to talk to clients and to train them in the Beers and Gordon way. They are trained not only in the legal aspects, but also how we feel about and treat our clients.
At Beers and Gordon you’re not just another number. We like our clients to know about our team and how our process works so that you’re not left wondering why your case has been pushed off to someone other than a lawyer. Rest assured, the first person who looks at a case is the lawyer. From there, we hand it off to other members of the team but we continuously review aspects pertaining to the case. We will always do what is in the best interest of our clients.
