- Here are some of my thoughts and impressions on the muffler delete I installed on my 2018 Ram 1500. I love the delete but I will be getting a different one due to the cheap clamps and fit on this one. Enjoy!
Edit: sorry about the wind noise, never had that issue before. I’ll try and film another soon.
Way to rep Cleetus brother!I will subscribe to you now ....Hell Yeah Brother!
I just did a Muffler delete on my 2011 ram 1500 an love it nice an deep and not raspy at all. I was going to put the Carven R performance muffler on but didn't want to spend the extra money Plus there isn't much of a difference in sound the Carven has a slight more Tone to the sound that's really it..
Agreed, I love the muffler delete
@@zstampe Plus I got the KN Blackhawk CAI and 5inch exhaust tips which really makes it deep and throaty.
I see the duck head on the license plate! Man I love duck hunting!
Don't know if you'll see this, but again, drone. Between this and the 2 Carven setups, did you have a noticeable change in drone? I like the more toned sound of the TR (although not sure how long that packing material will last) but if the drone isn't noticeably reduced, not sure if it's worth the extra cost over the muffler delete. Also, the 14" Mufflex should be even more toned and not get as loud as the TR might.
Have u tuned your ram yet . Looking too use a bypass . And just curious if I just use a red and black wire. I love my muffler delete !
My truck is tuned. The bypass came with my tuner, I’m sure a simple wire would work but most tuners will come with them I believe
Ya I was just curious the green and white wire didn't connect just the other wire into the bypass green module? Then plug the obd bypass into the obd then tune from there correct ? I dunnonwhy they added this too the 2018 models I tuned my 2015 fine just bypass makes me nervous
this is besides the point. but did you ever have any problems with your power lumber support. my 2015 is stuck in the full expanded position
Lol all good, no mine works fine. That sucks though!
Gas mileage loss of and low end torque or any drivability issues after muffler delete thanks in advance 😄
Yeah, didn’t have any of that. Thanks for your input though. Also in the video you can hear I spun the 35’s through first and into second so no loss of power.
Sure did notice nice man
whats up man great video, is that a mirror in the passenger side back seat? not sure what that is.........
It is for the baby seat lol
@@zstampe right on, i thought it was like a blind spot mirror. cool deal
What’s wrong with the clamps that it comes? Was thinking on getting one but I read your description about the clamps
Is there really no drone? Or is it bearable. I’ve tried the cheap total flow mufflers and couldn’t stand the drone
In my application there is no drone, but every truck is different. Like on the highway my truck is likely due to different RPM ranges from the larger 35” tires etc. rear end gearing plays a role too
Less drone than the carven?
@@nathanlegradi4098 my carven didn’t really drone. This is surprisingly about the same sound inside the cab. I was shocked. But as stated above every truck is different
@@zstampe yea it’s crazy how much different one truck is from the other. My competitor series drones something terrible at 50-60 but 65 and up you don’t hear it at all
I just did a muffler delete today on my 19 ram classic hemi and I can confirm there is a drone but it doesn’t seem to bother my wife or myself I can see it being a issue if you take a long road trip but just driving around town the thing sounds organismic
I wanted to ask where did you get your ram letters on top of Radio?
Prajekt13 on Facebook
Okay kool thanks. All your videos r very helpful.
What tuner are you running ?

Where did you get those taillights?
Them tail pipes look a little uneven bud
Did you do a resonator delete? Or just muffler?
Just the muffler
