That’s odd because other nations don’t have this problem like we do. The culprit is Industry and that industry OWNS our particular government.
@@claudiaperea exactly
Sue the Govt and citizens need to sue them for what they’ve done to us and our children
Reagan said they could monitor themselves. This is what deregulation x Capitalism brings.
Yep he made regulation a dirty word even though it is obviously VERY necessary
Thank you to the lady reporter who brought this to our attention. Well done.
60 years they knew!!? 😡
And again nobody is held responsible
Thank u
For making this video
Pray for all the farmers n the animals
We need stop these corporations who destroying our world n our animals our people.
I'm sooo sorry I can't even take it. Tears roll down my face. Please God have mercy on your faithful people who love this planet and the earth.
No citizen in America should be paying a water bill
Way to go Maine!! My family has a 3ed generation soybean farm in Tennessee. They have never tested the land. They continue to farm gmo soybeans from Monsanto. When asked why they say, it pays the bills. And it’s all we have ever known. My grandfather passed away at 95 last year. Everyone else has moved away. No one wants to farm anymore. And this is just another reason why.
We are PFAS. Sad.
Thank you for this information 👍
i GASPED when I saw him dump that milk down the drain....then my heart broke over these stories, omg. That poor young couple, just starting out. I live in the Dairy State. Am I at risk as well???
Small farms go by the wayside as corporate farmers take over. Your overlords have spoken. ✅
So sorry for this loss 😢 what a beautiful Songbird Farm and Fred is so devastated sad but humble, I can’t imagine your pain…💜
Sue 3m for everything
How to get rid of? Where does the sludge go? What about septic tanks? This is overwhelming my mind.
MAHA
Best you can do is minimize your exposure by finding the lists of things with PFAS and avoid them. Sadly, anything with foam, clothes like polyester/rayon, teflon... it's hard to avoid, but do your best to be informed.
My grandpa rolling over in his grave with what y’all have done in 35 years
Or my grandpa rolling over because of the things he 's done having been lied to. That generation trusted the government
The EPA’s ‘toolbox’ sounds pretty empty. What a sad government showing.
People that have done this need to be held accountable not only going to jail but also pay back the people they have caused harm.
Government MUST find plastic eating / bacteria synthetic eating bacteria and insects so farmers can heal thier land. Free of charge.
That EPA lady is full of it. She says that the sludge is usually safe, while at the same time admitting they don’t test it.
WHAT HAPPEN TO THE GREEN NEW DEAL? Clean water and Soil
THIS ABSOLUTELY MAKES ME SICK. LITERALLY!
Watch the THE DEVIL WE KNOW!!!!!!
Who is surprised at all of this? No one!
Wow on one hand I’m speechless, on the other I’m so angry and want to say many things. I will say that the industrial revolution started all this and people are so materialistic, this is how we got here. People want tangible items, companies want money, they could make products and sell products…now it’s so people can have job security in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. What a disgrace to society, that we’ve gotten so far from simple living. We wanted more and more, we wanted better and better…leaving a destroyed planet for our grandchildren. That’s paraphrasing my opinion of goes this happened. All because people want STUFF. Simple life just wasn’t enough and now look at the world
The epa doesn't care at all and they never will
News national should go to the grocery store and buy a bunch of random stuff and test it !!!👀👀
Whoever produced these chemicals must be sued to bankruptcy. Mho. I'm guessing private equity has ownership.
3m and depont needs to pay every American lots of money and import our food from safe sources
EPA is a joke
I wonder if we have this problem in Canada?
Amazing farmers!! I am so glad I watched this, thank y'all for sharing this, Starting with OUR FARMERS!!
I love it when Erin is pissed off. The ish gets done.
The people have known. We just have no recourse but to buy what is offered. The monopolies have owned us since before I was born, since before my parents were born. There is absolutely no accountability for those who profited from our life's work and our deaths.
Why would you trust chemical companies and EPA or the Government
Mrs, Fox should have been by Erin Brockovich.
From the nuclear waste strewn over WNC (west north carolina) lastest "Event" they are packing truckloads of MULCH from it - to where is it going???? Our farmers our personal gardens from the big box stores.
As soon as I started watching this video I started wondering about the bags of potting soil I put into my raised bed garden bins. I’m really concerned.
It's all about profits 😞
This is the saddest thing I’ve seen this is more eye opening than any war you all need to check your land
Why tf would that guy suggest to test the sludge/waste and shut down every single farm in America?
The farmers get hurt. We’re not dumb. The chemicals are not going away and we still have to eat. Take action against the people producing the chemicals. Stop them & we won’t need to test.
"A Civil Action" "Erin Brockovich" from 1998 and 2000. Both good films about water contamination. YT has Docs on Wastewater Industry. "Down Winders and the Radioactive West" is good. Tells story of post WW2 nuclear weapons development. "Atomic Homefront" on YT an HBO doc on the Superfund site in West St. Louis county. Westlake Landfill and Coldwater Creek. I lived in the Carrollton subdivision in Bridgeton, MO from 61 - 86. My mother was there till 2000. The City of St. Louis tore the whole subdivision down for a new runway at Lambert Intl. I suspect there was more buried contamination from the Manhattan project.
