The crowd's reaction to Switzerland's 12 points to Turkey is priceless. Nobody saw it coming, and it also meant that Sweden was in the lead after all of that. Shame on the Norwegian jury for giving nothing to Finland.
The audience reaction to UK giving Germany 1 pt is priceless! I did the calculation in my head with the Top 5 after each country voting and the margin got thicker and thicker, 6 countries were still in the race! For a 3rd year running ESC votes were ever so exciting!
Geemany got screwed over usually by its German speaking Neighbours - Austria gave Nicole to only 1 points And Switzerland killed it for Germany in 1981 being second last to vote while Germany and UK are tying (along with Switzerland itself who obviously can’t give themselves anything) and ignoring Germany completely
All those years it was believed that the jurors couldn't hear any other countries' votes until after they announced their own, but you heard Colin Berry, he heard other countries results.
Am I the only one who thinks Sweden was overmarked? If Kiki had danced in formation it might have worked better, but the song just wasn't strong enough for her to turn her back on the audience.

Apparently Mr Humphries was on the UK jury (from Are You Being Served) ! Honestly. No joke.

The jury spokesperson did. They had to be on the line for their turn. But the juries themselves had no power to change their votes at that time.
German was the best!
They heard it already - in 1970 the Irish spokesperson already knew they won when he was called to vote (very cheery Dubling)
