I struggle to understand why she's always trying to analyze the story from a "logical" perspective. Logic typically applies to fields like physics or mathematics, where everything follows clear rules. But life, and especially storytelling, is more about perspectives. Does emotion follow logic? If it did, the world would be perfect-a paradise. Everyone would be predictable, and conflict would vanish. But human emotions are complex and subjective, driving much of the story’s depth. In this story emotion is at the heart and Sadaf is presented as an "acchi larki" (good girl) from Bilal Abdullah's point of view. Reviewers need to see them through Bilal’s experiences and worldview. Bilal’s perception of Sadaf begins to shift after Mirza Saab warns him, while drunk, not to talk about his daughter. At their first encounter, Bilal viewed Sadaf through a more objectifying lens, his expression says so. But after this confrontation, he starts to see her differently, aligning her with the principles and moral values associating with her father. This shift is important because, early on, we see Bilal viewing women as objects, as shown in the first episode when he casually talks with a girl. This glimpse into his attitude highlights how he once believed women were "buyable", reflecting his own cynical approach to relationships. The 8-crore incident is a tool to reveal Sadaf's vulnerability. Some viewers may have preferred a more "logical" development, such as showing Sadaf struggling hard to gather the money and failing before ultimately feeling pressured into selling herself. This situation touches on what we might call a "breaking point." For some, family means they would go to any lengths, while others might draw the line differently. It’s this subjective breaking point that makes each character’s journey unique. So, a humble request: rather than using terms like "logical" or "realistic" to assess a drama where emotions drive the story, consider it a matter of perspective. Dramas are fictional; they’re not documentaries. Either you connect with the characters’ emotions, or you don’t. If you can’t relate, it’s fair to say you liked or disliked it, but logic isn’t the primary lens through which to view this type of storytelling.
Honestly speaking I don't know about Rabia but the way you have expressed your thoughts regarding her content in this such a lengthy paragraph, it was shocking though 🤦♂️
Oh My you just spoke my heart. Thank you for putting it out so well. This is exactly what I have been trying to comment on some other reviews too. Either ppl have not seen KRQ's dramas before or just watched the popular ones and understood them on face value. This story is driven by how humans act react and how ppl are complex beings, a person's life journey is not like a straight line. When ppl reviewing Sun Mere dil start looking for some mundane logic or refuse to understand that it is a story, a drama in which the characters are moving as per how their actions, emotions will take the story further, it bugs me. Sun Mere Dil has its own world and one should view it accordingly. It's not a story to educate or inform us or a social message on women empowerment, feminism, me too movement or some other current 'woke' issues.
@@SHAMEEMKhan-fb7mb Nadia Khan at Kya Drama Hai...makes my blood boil for most reviews for most dramas. It looks as if she is not a part of the fraternity but a layman/common person reviewing a drama whose understanding of any genre is very surface level. Her reviews are more like trolling, making fun of issues which do not align with her likes.
I loved sun mere dil yes there are controversial tolics which can easily be eradicate then drama would be perfect but still it has emotional depth and hope furthur hamein koi controversial cheeze dekhne ko na mile
I am so glad to see your review of SMD every where else on you Tube I see and here is that they have sharpen the claws to bring down everything from this drama and KRQ so it's pleasing to see a real review of the drama... A drama which is trending and more than anything the issues I loved the bonding of a sister brother and the mother which is really portrayed imaccibly by Maya and all the cost actors especially the young Kadwani.. Wahaj is nailing his potrayel of Abdullah too
This is not a simple love story .. its a complex story thats why everyone is loving this drama.. and its fully emotional drama and emotions dont have logic.. bus he is attracted towards her usko achi lag gai and woh koi vella nh h k offc m sadaf ko dekhta rahe woh business man h and woh attract hua h usse but still he doesn't believe in relations or marriage islie bus superficially they show k attract h use achi lgti h ab ye nh k woh ammar ki tarhan rota rahe zehar khaye etc.. wahaj is amazing as bilal❤
Yes, it was good Wahaj picked this character which is so depth and is different. Don’t know when channel will make the pace better , they are just behind increasing episodes by slowing pace.
not showing him with drinks and those forbidden acts together makes confusion so he is a person with some good quality yet involved in alcohol and relationship without marriage; have always admired such a loyal person(sadaf's father) have listened about his daughter thought when his father is such a person how her daughter would be and maybe thought I am not a person who will prefer marraige like responsiblity and loyalty but in assumption or story or scenario where I want to marry then sadaf would be that girl, basically writer want to give message there are two types of woman those who are fit for marriage and family and those are not
We all are connecting to it well. I think you guys are still confused and can't delete the element of personal work & professional work, and personal life and professional life. I wish i was a reviewer and people could see how unbiased i am as a person. Hate or not , kisi k kaam se zaidti ni bnti
I guess it’s ok for drama to be dramatic and filmy, even action dramas and movies show not so real things. Every drama is different, every drama need not reflect reality. Viewers wants variety.
The dialogue was its disrespect for most of women when one takes their name being drunken. So IMO it was for almost all and as you said it’s reality that in both men and women there will be some bad people. I would have problem in case the dialogue was like it’s disrespectful for only some women if one takes their name like that, as such dialogue would have been to just represent Sadaf. But here it seemed general.
When is the best interviewer going to interview Saima Baloch, I think Rabia and Fuchsia team are the only ones who will be able to do a decent interview with her.
I came across few reels recommending Sunny mere Dil to KMKT viewers and I was like are these people watching the same drama as I am 😑. As hard as Wahaj and Maya are working to lift this drama the writing is bizarre. I also feel the filmy touch in direction is slightly overdone. A good example is Hamsha's wardrobe. So, I am going back to my Korean and English dramas. It was a wonderful experience following KMKT with Rabia and y'all in the comment section. Hopefully UA-cam brings me back here sometimes in the future when we have the next KMKT. For those looking to salvage their Mondays I have some real recommendations for content like KMKT - Something in the Rain and The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.
It’s all about what someone likes, every drama isn’t same and yes both are totally different, one shouldn’t compare. SMD isn’t about reality, it’s filmy, emotional and dramatic like movies and I feel viewers also needs variety. Every drama shouldn’t be same.
Sun mere dil vulgar dialogue” Kamina” to brother and son. A hero who drinks alcoholic no morals but kind heart making alcohol as a crutch for depression. What are they trying to tell that alcohol smoking, women are used to hide a pain depression is justified poor guy. A good girl selling her self for her brother not going to bank, friends and family are solutions to problems. Immoral script, please don’t justify a poor writing a bad story and character. Hamsha makes no sense, Ammar love sick puppy Sadaf is telling Amamar get lost and then she gets in his face next day. Stupidity at every level. Disappointed in Wahaj .
The main plot is copied from a indian serial "katha " which is also a copy of turkish show . 😂 Same Same but different. Pakistan is a Islamic country so they change it into marriage.
arey ye baat hai re baba😮 he don't believe in marriage how this main theme of story gone from my memory 😔 I thought sadaf is weird and alien she can't say him to marry her and keep meher as 8 crore
