When fighting the dragon, once you get the sword just stay there above where the sword respawns. All you have to do is move up and down in that one position grabbing the sword.

For the spider boss i found it easier to stay at the bottom left its a shorter path to the sword you can also just hit it with the sword without getting the nest.
