Thanks Panter! After playing around with it and with different shapes, my question is if there is potentially a mathematical formula for getting an equally sized gap between all the corners. I can get it close but not dead on, is it possible?

I think you missed the part how to do it when you cut down the edges, it needs to be exact and the rectangle needs to snap in that specific point how is in the video 0:48
