    I’m an incoming freshman and I have a few questions. So do you travel to each house as a group, do we have to fill out the individual recruitment from each sorority, and since it’s before the semester can you moving into the house?

      Hi Ada! You can’t move in to the house until sophomore year in most chapters and you don’t have to complete a separate form for each house! Thanks for the question!

    I’m looking to maybe joining a sorority at unl in the future, I’m only in high school, but I wander what is like to rush when you are plus size and are the sororities accepting or just looking for Barbie dolls? Are certain house better for different body types?

      Houses really look at you as a whole and your personality! I have never seen any houses judging anyone based on appearance and if that does happen that’s probably not a house you want to be in any way!! I’m sure when you go through recruitment you will end up where you are supposed to be :)))

    Im an incoming freshman at UNL and I have a question about the groups you are in for the recruitment process. How do they put you into groups and are you with the same group for the whole week??

      Your group for recruitment is determined by the floor you live on in your residence hall! And you are with the same group the entire week! This is where you will meet a lot of your first friends at college :)

    Hey I have one question! I’m an incoming freshman at Lincoln and I want to rush but I don’t think I want to do it as a freshman. Is rushing different for sophomores?

      Going through recruitment as a sophomore is the exact same process! You go through the formal recruitment process the week before school begins, but there is also the option of open recruitment which is much more informal and happens in the winter! Thanks for your question:)

    How early did you start your essay for the sorority??

    • @alaynasammie2545
      @alaynasammie2545  4 роки тому

      There really isn’t an essay you have to write, we will be making a video about how to fill out the application as soon as it comes out!

    Does everyone who goes through recruitment get a bid?

    • @alaynasammie2545
      @alaynasammie2545  5 років тому

      Unfortunately, not everyone gets a bid their first time going through recruitment, but if someone does not receive a bid, they can always do informal recruitment or formal recruitment the following year!! Thanks for the question :)
