@@nick3805 I admittedly don't watch this because I'm way too old for it but it might just be that they're not even allowed to sing live. That's the case for a lot of kids shows in and out of the UK where they have segments like this.

While I am aware of such Practises (althrough I fail to understand their Use) I don't think it then makes Sense to praise the Members' Vocal Capabilities when we actually haven't heard them sing live during a Performance. The Studio is a very controlled Envirionment and a Song that sounds great in the Studio Version can absolutely ve ruined by a sub-par vocal Performance live when it turns out that the Singer(s) can't actually sing like that outside of that very specific Envirionment. It's exactly what happened to Belgium's Eurovision Song Contest Entry "Until the Party's over" by Mustii this Year, to the Point where it went from a Fan-Favourite and potential Winner to non-qualifying in the Semi-Final.

A pet peeve of mine in kpop is seeing all the fans shouting 'slay!!' and praising their vocals and things and they're all CLEARLY using a back track or can hardly hold a note at any point. And I'm saying this as someone whose idol fandom began in jpop and who knew of Miyawaki Sakura since her HKT48 debut. I was a 2nd - 3rd gen kpopper primarily and our standards for the shows and idols themselves were very different to these days. I'm curious to see how the boys hold up when they PROPERLY go live.
It actually depends on where in the UK they're from. The Welsh don't speak as fast for example, a lot of southern accents and dialects are slower than northerners. But this is a show geared to kids and it has a short run time with lots of segments so they HAVE to keep things ramped up and the pace going. Growing up with CBBC, I feel like most of the presenters and shows were like that with few exceptions. Same with other kids channels like CITV, Pop etc.
