It’s mad how grime now exists in the past like other old school genres. You can’t ever recreate what the scene once was. And now we get to look back on it like this.
I remember when I got first introduced to grime all the way back in the earlier days I think it was 2006 by a lovely little Latina from Feltham I was seeing, and it was great watching everything that has happened since then. But yeah old grime tunes are just unmatched.

@@RealGrimeSituations i found crispy on sound cloud an he has this to say , Chris Panton, better known as Mouth Almighty, and sometimes Crispy to heads from back in the day, was one of the founding members of the Streets alongside Mike Skinner (until Mike decided to Jack all the ideas and try to replace Chris as the rapper without writing his own shit like a fake, biting, abackstabbing disloyal wasteman). Somewhat disenfranchised by the whole "best friend bites your shit and tries to make you look like a knob for supporting him" thing, Mouth shunned the whole labels and commercial thing in favour of keeping his head down and spitting real shit for real peeps. It didn't turn out too well.. Now hitting his 30s, broke as fuck, mashed in the head from excessive drug use and pissed off with sleeping for dinner 3 nights a week, he has finally decided to put himself out there.... He probably won't get anywhere though, apparently wackness is the current prerequisite for chart success... And Mouth Almighty is anything but wack.
