Oh wait, are you actually the translator/writer of the English lyrics? No shit!!! It's great work you've done. Hey, would you mind if I ask you a quick question? No disrespect, is there a reason you went for "heart pie" instead of a more intuitive and less ambiguous word choice of "love pie"? :) The ambiguity of the word "heart pie" makes me think of this other picture when I hear this English version of the song 😭
@@BreadBoxVideo Fair enough. Otherwise, great work!! I used to work as a part-time translator in college. I know how difficult this line of work is to meet expectations of both the original writer and the cohesiveness of the translation. I worked primarily with non-literary, so I can only imagine; it must be ten times, twenty times more difficult to translate a lyrics, singable one no less. Have a nice one
英語版はより声がクールに感じるな。こっちもカッコいい。日本語っぽいのに英語っぽさもある「Taton taton taton taton taten tatonta」と「I'm sure that even you understand?」の最後の上がり方が特に好き。 けどやばいな…。一人で歌うのがより難しくなった気がする。息が…息が…!
While I love this song very much-it's great music, and the Japanese lyrics were cheerful and cute-the English version, starting the song with "Heart pie" is a questionable choice at best. "Heart pie" has such a terrible image to it. I'll not be able to stop connecting "heart pie" with something like a liver pie... I mean... Wouldn't they have been able to translate to "love pie", the more straightforward and nice word? Haha
「なに言ってんだ?(自問自答)」がそのまんま「What're you saying?(self-answering)」なのが好きです
These were some of my favorite English lyrics to write.
Thank you so much!!!! The rhymes are so cool!! From a HimeHina fan!!!

@@Jiyoon02 The official translation of Heart pie was already made and I had to work with it.
