  • Produced by the governments of the USA and Britain, "Eve of Battle" is a photographic record of the Allied Expeditionary Forces as they embarked upon the D-Day landings in Occupied France. Starts with amazing footage of German bunkers and coastal installations, and shows the formation of the gigantic invasion force with its multi-national components. The film concludes with vivid footage of June 6, 1944 and the invasion force arriving on the beaches.
