Damn....I really like their stuff. They are our competition but...really good ideas and designs. A ballpiont pen spring dropped into the bottom of each of the ammo tubes will stop the rattle when full.
You guys make great stuff and I've got a few things from you for my hi point carbine. But I have to admit I think I'm going to go with this for my badger. Been looking at it for a bit just been waiting on information
This is great. Just ordered the kit. Been looking for something like this for a while. I love my badger, it’s my trapping gun, use it a ton, this will make it even better to use.
Not saying I dont like this kit but longshot is way better imo. The parts fit perfect and there actually built to last. The ammo holder idea is pretty cool tho. If longshot starts making them ill buy it 💯
So these are 3d printed which is fine, their site just say polymer which means very little. Are they using ASA or just straight PLA or PLA + or do they not tell you that? I'm mostly concerned about uv resistance which PLA is kinda ass at.
@@untacticaltexan Oh dang I figured they'd give me the run around, PLA+ is pretty good should last the gamut specially with a uv coat, would prefer ASA but that stuff is still kind of a pita to print. Thanks, tell em thanks, I'll keep em in mind and if they ever sell the stl for the cheek piece I'll be first in line with or without the crazy faux rotary mag bracket.
@@untacticaltexan You could buy a printer for a little less than 2 of those bundles and print 20 kits with the filament included in the price. You could basically print an entire ___ like the awcy bento box for hardly more than the bundles cost if you had the printer. And I was being generous over the price of filament, it's really more like $2 worth. I'm assuming their price doesn't even include shipping.
I don't hate their hustle, but they could have done polymer casting instead of raw prints and had something that doesn't look like they took it off the build plate and dumped it in the box. I can see the layer line gaps in that ammo tube lid, very lazy.

I was working on ideas to quiet it, that is a great idea, thank you. I think a combination of your products and theirs makes this little rifle great.
Thanks Longshot, our model rifle (that sees heavy use) sports one of your rock solid full length top rails.

Gives the rifle a more traditional look and feel. Very nice products with a lot of time and effort put in to producing them.@@AmericanHistoryXX1
This thing is cool. The ammo holder alone is real slick. I like that it has flat spots to keep it from running off uneven surfaces
I'm very happy with it
I bought one, looks gorgeous! and well made!
About the ammo dispenser.
It rattles quite a bit, could it misfire inside the can? That would be a major security breachement

Nice! Enjoy it!
Does the ammo holder work with 22mag or just 22lr?
Great job showing the finished product?

Not sure but I can reach out if you would like
@@untacticaltexan If you could yeah.
@@hrvstmn31 They are using PLA+ for these.

Am I stuck in Groundhog Day or did you not post this yesterday? I'm always looking for proof of The Matrix... 😂
Noticed I had a typo in the intro of video, fixed and reposted 🤣 and yes, we are in the Matrix 😁
@@untacticaltexan I knew it....
Idk why I’m intrigue by these minis
4 dollars worth of 3d printed filament
Production cost, printer costs, versus retail. Like almost all goods in this country.

@@PhonePhone-sf8te Gotcha. I know nothing about printing.
@@untacticaltexan you should get into it, the entry hurdle basically doesn't exist.
