On July 31st, The StormRunner Media team headed South into Tucson, AZ, ahead of a severe thunderstorm (and very slight) tornado risk. We saw several storms, a couple having amazing structure, especially the one in Green Valley, so make sure you watch the whole video! Stay until the end to watch our close call! Enjoy!

I was in Tucson when this storm hit the city. I witnessed rotation then all hell broke loose.

I'm pretty sure my son, wife and I were looking at that storm from my back yard near the south dead end of Kolb. I took some cellphone footage, but you got way closer than I was to it. The storm really was a whopper. Enjoyed your film.

My wife and I got some pictures of this storm headed home on Houghton south of I10.
For a minute I thought we were going to see tornado rotation in Tucson.
In the video, it got so damn dark, it doesn't even look like a storm in AZ, it's a storm in the plains.

All due respect, this was a severe-warned storm at one point. It downed power lines, had supercellular structure as seen with the striations above the shelf cloud before the sunset. But thanks for your input
That storm was really intense. We here in Green Valley/ Sahuarita are welcoming the rain. It is finally greening up our desert. Tons of thunder and lightening in these monsoon storms. We had another good one last night 8/7. It was like right over our house. Shook the house like a small earth quake.

Oh my God I’m afraid to watch how the clouds change atmosphere it’s very scary all that God wants all these children to turn their faces to Him Who’s humbled themselves before his Powerful hand but people don’t give a damn
I've been a chaser for over 40 yrs (orig. native nebraskan) and have lived north of tucson for 60 yrs. I guarantee you, you did NOT get chased by coyotes....lol. OMG....that's hilarious. I live out in the middle of the desert....not in town. I hear what you've got on tape at least every other night. They're chasing a rabbit. Those coyotes want NOTHING to do with you, bro.
