Tbf that weapon art can cover a surprising distance with its follow ups and does crazy damage, bleed builds are wild in this game

amror pieces idk but for a faith build like this with high faith you would choose confessor or prophet, and focus on getting your faith up(though if your new to fromsoft games i reccomend levelling up vigor a lot early on, more health means not getting oneshot by later bosses). theres a few cool faith weapons and you should just choose how you make your build specifically off the weapon and stuff you like the most
Ignore the faith guy. Start with a prisoner build and prioritize int and dex, while leveling vigor and endurance on the side. Occasionally level up mind as this gives you more mana to cast bigger spells. I recommend using a bleed weapon look up Bloodhound Fang for a good early one as bleed is straight broken in this game. A word of advice just sit down and wander the open world don’t listen to the waypoint advice and go straight to the main progression point as you will easily get discouraged from playing the game.
Hello, may I ask that does the spear scale with faith? Auto attack doesn’t seem to benefit from faith since it doesn’t have the tag. But how about the skill?

hes got increased jumping damage with the raptors feathers chest. probably jump attack talisman, maybe the 2 talismans that increase weapon skill damage. looks like a dex build. Prob lowish hp and is looking for 1 shots with the hand of malenia weapon art.

faith could do with a slight buff, either increasing the amount of poise the incantations get while casting or lowering cast times would make it more viable
would a build focused around more than 3 attributes be good? i want to focus on dex, faith, endurance and maybe strength. it might sound dumb but i want my character to have a really high equip load so i can have different weapons, incantations and stuff for different situations. so maybe a crossbow, shield, 2 blade types and stuff. i’m new to souls if u cant tell 😂🤷♂️
We all start somewhere so never feel shy. I played my first character in Elden Ring as a hybrid of dexterity, strength and faith and yes it really works, ofcourse not nearly as efficient as two main attribute focus build. If you are still early in the game under level 60 then only level up the mains enough that you can wield the weapons, you must have quality scaling weapons that compliment your mains be it dex, strength or faith. Most of your damage at this point will come from upgraded weapons anyways so do not worry about getting all your stats in offensive, just about enough so you can wield them without penalty. Rest should go evenly in health, stamina /weight capacity and focus points. Also don't worry too much about the build you can change it later in the game and once you reach 150, you can try more focused build where you can prioritize damage. But early on jack of all trades is really fun because you always get new weapons but if your stats do not compliment then you can't try. See which type of weapons are to your liking early on so you can decide later which ones are worth committing.
I played alot of undeadmatches in ds3 and really enjoyed the pvp with restricted estus use, if the other person uses health pots I will but I really prefer not to
My friend uses malenia blade on me, but I have double greatswords so I just stay close and jumping attack right when he starts, and send him flying to the ground.
Loretta's mastery is an int spell and I'm using faith incantations it wouldn't work at all, plus that spell isn't great for pvp id have a better chance landing frozen lightning spear lmao
SL 120-130 is really active for pvp the area I'm In, I think my weapons +8 or +9. If you let someone invade you instead of invading you'll find pvp alot faster
Nah fp restoration is a bit different, not only do I need it for the incantations but in ds3 undeadmatches allowed for fp flask use don't see why that should change
i started vagabond and the weapons called the bolt of gransax, samurai would be a better starting class if you plan on using this weapon tho cuz it requires 40 dex
i mostly use it cuz the weapon art is cool af and i really like the moveset, i run the godslayer greatsword using this build sometimes and it does some really solid dmg
@@Ziadmostafa321 np lmao, yea you can the lightning incantations require a seal instead of a staff and when i throw the bolt of lighting thats the ash of war on my weapon not a spell so u can use it without a seal
@@Ziadmostafa321 youll have to google the exact location of the one u want to use thier all over the map, the golden order seal can be found in one of the first church's in the atlas plateu
Auto lock on using controllers makes pretty much all projectiles, barring those with aoe, non viable in pvp; using keyboard and mouse with freelook, its possible to anticipate the enemy's next position and have better hit rates with spear type projectiles

more weapons means more options. but youd be trading damage for variety. not gonna be ez learning to switch thru the weapons for different scenarios.

Ive been trying alot of invasions and have gotten ganked a ton aswell, it's way easier to find duels if you lure invaders instead of invading
