      I would be ashamed of myself if I were her, not just because the wiped cream thing but also the stupid remarks like explaining why one would butter a pan, replying to how it's made traditionally with two modern ways of doing it (traditional is only a lump of butte and powdered sugar no other extra's like today is often the case) and explaining why one would turn them.

    those poffertjes looks realy realy awfull, take it from a dutchman, i had many in my life, but these are a no-go

    I have never been a fussy eater and would eat anything as a child , loved my greens but one thing I could not eat because they made me sick were these horrible “ poffertjes”, my siblings nevertheless loved them !

      That's why we don't eat it every day or week. My mother made it once a year or we would get it on a funfair. On a funfair I will get it but only with 8 poffertjes not 16 or 24....waaaayyyy too much

    Those poffertjes look so wrongly cooked, way to much fat.... dafuq.
    Next time buy some in Amsterdam.... or at least not in the southern part of the netherlands...

      Excuse me?!?! I live in the south of the Netherlands and we know damn well how to make poffertjes. You in Amsterdam think you own the country...well...YOU DON'T!

      Exactly in Amsterdam you only get the cheap fake ones made with instant powder and some water. They even use the wrong plate to cook them the right way.

    1:16 ugh, a very dirty pan - the oil is all black. It's disgusting to watch

      It is a dutch oven surface, and the black is not the oil. It looks AWESOME.

      It have to be black, it means the plate is well burned in like you have to do with a traditional wok. The plate is made of red copper.
