I think you would really love Gene's performance. My absolute favorite. Perfect structure, very focused on melody, absolute godsent.

@@swiftyyy870 Gene is an absolute genius with music and I loved his outfit but something about his solo elimination felt off. I just wonder if it might be a personal taste thing. I just liked his performance better in his wildcard I guess? My gf said she thought there was too much singing, not enough beatbox lol. Still a great performance though.
Also, you are right that this performance is almost perfect! Out of 24 eliminations, he placed 1st place. America came in hot this year taking the top 4 spots!

I think structure and composition is the next evolution of beatboxing. Everyone at that level can do amazing new techniques, but the one thing that makes these new routines memorable is the ones that have an amazing story/structure/composition to them. Great analysis!
Just remember they have to fill up the criteria of the judges like technicality originalty in these kind of events thats why most of the beatboxers have a lot of changes in their routine(Elimination)

Even though it’s not melodic, I think you’d really enjoy Napom’s elimination. And Gene’s, which is more melodical. King Inertia was my favorite though.

yeah inertia came first in the elimination by a long shot. only two judges didn't have him first and even they had him in the top 3
