That was excellent! Bring back Gary!!!!! Also screw the producer, let Gary talk for as long as he wants. That was a great listen. It also sounds like the MIGHTY CANDU wins again. I swear having 480 calendia tubes is brilliant. Being able to go through and get the process down for one allows you to optimize that process for all of them. If there is ever an issue with one of the tubes, you just replace them. That CANDU is great. If you get a chance to ask him, you can ask about taking spent fuel out of the BWRX-300 and putting it directly into a CANDU. My understanding is that the BRWX-300 uses enriched fuel, which afterwards can be used again in the CANDU. It also increases the performance of the CANDU.
Please never cut short well flowing interviews short due to some artificial 45 minute limit! We'll stay to the end every time. No matter how long they run. And especially if the interview is awesome (which they all tend to be!) The more details the better. Long-form for the win!
Fantastic to see you listening to the very end, even of a longer episode! We try hard to balance depth with listener retention (and respect for our busy guests). Thank you for helping us gauge what the Decouple audience wants!
@@decouplemedia creating two parts is the obvious option. Unless Chris has to go to surgery, or the guest has other plans, it's a crying shame to cut short any discussion, interview opportunity. Some guests might not come back again... Luckily, Mark, etc. do return again and again, allowing for the extensive selections of avenues to be explored at the depth they deserve. Complex issues demand time is dedicated to exploring, explaining them. Long-form is growing and growing.
I was curious and had to look it up. The Eiffel Tower was only intended to be around for 20 years. You could make the argument it was engineered for a "20 year lifespan". It's now 136 years old. Something to keep in mind when people say "oh, it was only designed to last X"
All that's left to do is reiterate the knowledge of unique admixtures of bio-logical pulse-evolution time-timing, the personal state of metastable relative-timing modulation cause-effect of phase-locked coherence-cohesion sync-duration in Eternity-now Universal Life, aka, Logarithmic Time. IE an Education overhaul to minimise and put in relative proportion, the Forever War FUD.
The parade of outstanding guests continues. Outstanding !
Thanks for Candus in Ontario, a glimmer of promise fulfillment.
Exceptional, realistic!!!
US needs to follow!
Exciting times, hoping that success in Ontario will spread out into the other provinces.

BWR v. CANDU @ 18 mins. Would say that Calandria vessel, if beyond use when inspected is a similar no go scenario to that of the BWR pressure vessel.
Another example of longevity is the Brooklyn bridge 100 years old and the Eiffel Tower. Candu reactors can be the same.

Sexiness factored by 50%. Double mustaches preferred.

Wait. What? Don't start construction until after the design is done? And the licensing? How utterly bizarre! What planet do you guys live on?
CANDU can be rebuilt indefinitely
