Really Great Episode from Theo & Bert. I think they have a lot of chemistry & mesh well & how they bounce each other’s jokes. You can tell they generally like to hang out together.
Bert's special was awesome. So happy to see ya'll still putting out content. This has been a dark week, it's nice to have something at the end of the day that makes us laugh a little.
Yeah, "we" as in humanity I think. Based on my personal experiences (though my social circle is definitely not a great sample group) people are not cool with what he did or his response. Posting this because social distancing has me stir crazy lol. Take it for what it is.
@thepersonwithaface45 I'm not passing judgement on whether or not these two should be friends. I'm just saying that @Psyifinotic has a point. As consumers, and participants in the social contract, a large number of us are choosing not to support someone who would drug someone without their knowledge or consent in response to an imagine insult. He felt socially pressured to participate in sober October (which was in no way mandatory), and in response gave his supposed friend a drug which he had never before consumed and which can cause serious side effects, including brain damage and death (though it's true that proper air conditioning and hydration all but negate the chance of ill effects). If Bert wants to forgive and forget that's great, but many of us (or "we") will not continue making Ari wealthy when he's willing to behave in this way, especially when he's unapologetic.
I love how sincere Bert is and how genuinely happy he is for Theo and how much he loves his humor and content. Him telling the story about remembering when he realized how funny Theo is and loving his special was so nice and cool to hear. I love hearing comedians rooting for each other and hearing them talk about "the good ole days." I also think he sounds like such a fun dad. His girls are lucky during this quarantine lol

He literally lists off like 100 different drinks and how much he likes them to theo, to which theo genuinely just responds that he agrees they're good. It's of course not a given that people recovering can be righteous acting, but it is unfortunately common. nice to see someone handling it so well.
