Now imagine being a big time drug dealer, and all you had to do was tell the cop you have your CCW and your guns in the car with you....
you only break one law at a time. If you're carrying drugs, make sure your car is working correctly, don't speed and obey all traffic laws. It's simple.
that's why there are laws in place, to catch the people who "aren't thinking straight" like you said it yourself, normal thigns should be in check, if you're a regular criminal or drug user, your brain doesn't work like that, the last thing on your mind is checking simple things, granted the problem with the justice system is it's built by expecting the civilian will fear the system, and no civil society should be setup this way, giving living in fear is a terrible way to stay in check.
These police officers need to quit wasting their time and put all their resources into whoever is opening trunks and placing guns and weed in other peoples vehicles. It never seems to be theirs.

I'm pretty sure when they say "the dog showed interest in both doors" it's not really true, at least not in this case, but it is more as an excuse to legally search the car without consent, because they knew something was up. To me, it didn't look like the dog alerted anything, but of course I'm not a K9 operator, and I don't know what they do to alert, so I might be wrong. I think it's fine that they do this though, because you shouldn't have a problem with them searching your car without consent if you have nothing to hide from them.

He's a drug addict, he doesn't deserve to go to jail for his addiction. Jail will only ruin his record, and his life. Rehab is much more effective and I don't know why officers don't just confiscate it and tell them if it happens again its jail.
E115 I agree that it most likely will happen again... but jail on a large scale is not a good place at all for addicts. Jails, unlike prison, do not provide proper care for addicts as most of them are also suffering from mental health. They are thrown in general population and can really face improper treatment. I think we often forget that, while it is a choice to do drugs, addiction is a disease and jail is the worst. Rehab/treatment is the best option but we spend more money on prisons.

My daughter is 35 and I remember hearing that at the schools and other things the kids were doing. They grow up and find out the world doesn't love them, and it's a hard cruel place and they have to work for what they want then they go off the rails or end up like Peter Pan here riding a trike at 1am thinking everyone else is doing like him. I see so many I'd love to pop in the chops but you can't live that way,so I try to ignore them. I have my house on the market and it's pretty empty. Why buy new furniture to move from SC to Fla? I had a few call and scream at me because I have an empty home while they need a place with their brood of kids. They didn't believe me when I said I live here and will till it sells, I have to. I'm being selfish and since it's just me, I should move and let them move in for free with their brood, and they can do yard work and clean to pay me. This is the mentality out there today. Even if I could, I would never rent or rent to own. People destroy things today when they get mad. I didn't mean to say this much, it just all came out, Sorry. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Literally everyone they stop has some sort of narcotics on them.
TBF, there are probably plenty of uneventful traffic stops that result in just tickets or warnings, but most of them wouldn’t make TV.
It's an epidemic in this country
Sadly it's one of the biggest drug problems in northeast Ohio right now. We have trailer parks full of meth and heroin. Opioids are everywhere and I've seen 3 people OD in my local walmart which is in a really quaint Amish town. Next to no crime here apart from drugs.
Exactly Clair B, while carrying a gun or 2 or 3.
The old guy with the weed was hilarious. “I don’t need this” 😂
Everyone is saying this and they don't want to see the guy go to Jail and ruin his life but he is in a state where it's not legal.

I feel like half the criminals wouldn’t get caught if they just made sure normal things were in check
My friends and I talk about this all the time. Thinking back to the days when we would have a pocket full of buds. Walk around all day, drive, talk to cops, go shopping. The cops never knew. Now imagine being a big time drug dealer, and all you had to do was tell the cop you have your CCW and your guns in the car with you....
I mean, think about it this way: You're seeing the ones dumb enough not to do that. The smart ones aren't in these videos for a reason.
@@jordanfry5138 that’s exactly what I’m saying
you only break one law at a time.
Really it’s awful. It appears to be everywhere. And it’s usually a car they just bought, borrowed or stole.

“Yeah you stand by bro. I’m standing by” 🤣🤣 classic
This show has taught me a few things…
No one carriers licenses on them. No ones windows work. Every time someone gets pulled over, they probably have meth. They’re all terrible liars.
This reminds me of when I started as a cashier and had to card people and 8/10 never had their ID ..like you just out here driving with NO KIND of ID? I think cashier's and cops hear some of the same stories a lot 😂
They don't always have meth but a lot of times they have warrants etc and I don't understand the whole window thing, makes no sense to me.
@@brendafleming8155 my passenger window has never worked lol it's always down though. But I've had cars where none of the windows worked or the handles were broken. And since most of these people are probably low income I believe it 100%
They literally only show the stops that prove the police in the right. If you've ever watched the show(before they were canceled for erasing footage of police murdering a man), you'd see. That when the police pull over innocent people the camera cuts away. Or to a commercial
And everyone has lost their wallet and has just lent their car to their nephew.

@@brighamcardon5076 I was talking About cops using the K-9 as a way to search vehicles. I understand that this is a show and therefore it needs to be entertaining.
@@Abel-wb4xk Me neither, but I mean the cops clearly knew that there was something in the car from the way he was acting.
@@christiankjrgaard1329 yeah sure, and also go ahead and come to my home and inspect that everything is OK, because I have nothing to hide right? Thats the wrong mentality. If they have reasonable probable cause, then sure, but if not, then its unnecessary.

He's a drug addict, he doesn't deserve to go to jail for his addiction. Jail will only ruin his record, and his life. Rehab is much more effective and I don't know why officers don't just confiscate it and tell them if it happens again its jail.
Jess Myberg I always feel bad for the bad guys cause maybe I'm a bad guy at heart lol
XANLY ikr same
E115 I agree that it most likely will happen again... but jail on a large scale is not a good place at all for addicts.
