Paravathy's words set some shivers down my spine as she reminded me of my Indian Reiki teacher who was very strict and loving. I am so thankful to have her in my life. There is not only the understanding of the meaning of the words but the visceral experience of them that is much more important and which comes through time spent in contemplation.

True, the western psyche remains in the cage of the mind, need to understand and remain in the words. Contemplation is not easy because meditation is foreign and not natural. Parvathy responded brilliantly.

Lol it seems his words were not meant to be heard out for everyone in public.
I wonder if sending the video to a lip reader would be cheating 😅

I love Eastern culture.... you see here.. even in a talk on non-dualism.... how there becomes no hierarchy between disciple and guru as the first gentleman said. With Parvathy.. she stresses... we NEVER become same as the guru. It is this difference which is polar between east and west... how being servant is the greatest thing in the east.. and to be master is the greatest in the west. In new age spirituality people are rushing to embrace the 'I am God, I am the master'.... which is accepted in Eastern philosophy but it will always be subservient to .. 'I am your slave'..... in terms of 'rasa' .. sentiment. Rasa then supercedes tattva in importance. Love is higher than knowledge........................oh... and how she dealt with the guy talking all frilly oneness stuff... shows she is guru.

think there is a lack of clarity with that gentleman. All the attitudes that one has with the Guru is only centered around love. And as Parvathy Ma has said one can never be same as the Guru that is to be understood in the transactional level. Ultimately the Guru is not and the disciple is not but love is. But that ultimate finds expression in relationships.
I think Vedanta philosophy will help us understand.

The audacity and irony of the questioner who says it’s about love and then proceeds to be argumentative.😂

Translation of दास (daas) is not slave! Abrahmic mind's understanding of words slave is very different from what she means when she says Daas. That's the problem with translation and gap between abrahmic mind and an Sanatani Vedic Bhartey Indian mind. Very few like Sadhguru Vasudev Jaggi can ensure that the meaning doesn't change in the variance of human minds. Before teaching any of the vedic paths to Abrahmics or Indians with Christian school upbringing, one must understand this and ensure that dilution or corruption of gyan doesn't happen.

Jaggi Sadhguru is a top class charlatan. If not for his endless money into social media, he would be nowhere. A Guru who constantly seeks more money and attention. So spiritual, much wow.
Try following some real Gurus like Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Lakshmanjoo.
Even Sri M, Daaji are better than that cultist gaslighter..

Why you need more women right now and less men.
Parvati had to become strict teacher in this forum at the start because of that narcissistic questioner. The moderator failed.
Parvathy early on points fingers at two guys who start cross talking. There is a generational and male energy manifest.
To the moderator... Please be more careful. Mindful of setting tone. You should have cut that first questioner right away.
    This was PAINFUL.

I admire and applaud Parvathy’s inner strength and nobility to reset the tone of respect and the space to receive the guests/gurus insight and teachings. Dealing with constant ignorance and aggression requires the patience of a Saint. Om Namah Shivaya 🙏
