A great pro saw which you can service and maintain. Stand up and Buck.

Nice! Watching the tree felling with the strap to pull it where you wanted made me a little nervous. I’ve done that before too in order to ensure a tree goes where I want. Being rather cautious when felling, I get away from the trunk as soon as it starts really moving. I’ve left the saw behind before if it’s snagged. Saws are replaceable, but I’m not!

Wow - couldn’t have had it fall much closer to the fence corner! Nice work with the MS261. -Chad

Thanks, Chad! It was a close one. That was the one spot surrounding it that I could drop it without damaging the fence or my house.

Imagine if you could get some of that C85 chain on that Stihl?

Just love the sound of a good Stihl chainsaw. You came so close to that fence post, I thought for sure it would hit it!

It was close but that was the spot I was shooting for. Thanks for watching.

My only complaint with Stihl is the leaking gas and oil caps. If they'd just fix that, they be every bit as good as Husky in my opinion.

What chain are you running, is it the green safety chain? I think you need to drop the rakers or work on filing it, just a little. A couple times i thought i heard it sputter deep in the cut. That could be the spark arrestor plugging and the saw cant breathe enough. Depending on your envirment your cutting in. You can pull the arrestor and run wide open. Good job

I run both green and yellow but mainly yellow now. Yea, I agree with needing to file the rakers and a good sharpening. I'll check the spark arrestor, I forget to do that sometimes when I'm running several saws. Thanks, man!

261 is a good saw. You obviously get a lot of use out of it. Thought for sure you were going to smash that fence!

That should be cutting alot faster than that something isn't right (rakers/teeth)
