I'm Brian from Texas I have a f250 2011 with 28,000 miles. I have l Learned more from you in two hours then I did in auto shop. Thanks can't wait to get started!!! Thank you very much
It's been great. The only complaint I've had is the front end wobble. I fixed that mostly with better shocks and stabilizers but it's slowly creeping back. Pretty sure the stabilizers will be exchanged on their lifetime warranty. I use the truck mostly for light personal stuff but I tow a VERY heavy trailer 4 to 5 times a year. The truck is an absolute animal for that. Three years in and hasn't been in a shop. Pretty amazing really.
The trailer has a few systems that draw power all the time. Smoke detectors, radio & TV standby, weather stuff, security, inverter, etc. I'm not sure what the total draw is but I'll bet the batteries draw down somewhere around 5% each night. Not much so the panels fully charge the batteries soon after the sun comes up. That's the best thing about the solar panels. You just get this constant free power that keeps the batteries healthy and full all the time.
Makes me want to set up panels on my new rig. Finally got our Voltage toy hauler. See more at My Voltage RV.com. (Remove the spaces) . Solar is the way to go.

I've always loved messing around with radios. Just haven't gotten around to it in my truck.
Awesome truck and trailer setup. Years of good times ahead my friend. And great site too. I'll look forward to seeing your mods.
