Thanks for watching, Steve! Glad to know you still watch the vids-especially after finding out just yesterday that you apparently “love” Amouage Myths Woman, which I somewhat damned 😂
@@youdoyou888 🤢 bile doesn’t belong in soap! At least there’s a patchouli for people who hate patchouli (because it’s completely undetectable) 😇. It might be a skin chemistry thing too.
Silver Oud is definitely one of the best Amouages I had smelled. Not ready to buy full bottle, but I alredy used 1 dekant 10mils and have 3 as an backup.
Whoa, that’s plenty! I love it, it went straight to my current top 1 spot! I don’t know if it will stay there forever (others are more complex) but in comparison it’s just so versatile, not-picky at all about weather and social situations.
The art of testing fragrances is to not bring your hand to your nose. Let the fragrance do the work. If you can't smell it, it's not worth it. period! And this one is beautiful in the air!
@@youdoyou888 true. I always start off smelling it around me to get the perception others will have. After that I smell a few times up close in the wearing to see how it changes. For me it is hard to do it the other way around. Everybody has its own way to study their frags. Keep up the good work.
I Silver Oud a couple of weeks and wore yesterday for the first time. I loved it so much I had to wear it again today and probably will continue to wear it the next several days. This coming from a person that LOVES his sweeter profiles like Erba Pura, Greenwich Village, Ani, Imperium etc. I love this because this is everything those are not. This is ALL MAN! I suggest getting a decant and wear it a couple of times before deciding if you like it or not. Great juice for a mature man like me.
Glad that you’re enjoying it, too! I’ve come to love it more and more, it’s really a special blend, so elegant, effortless, just cool about itself. Those already comfortable with oud will probably like it as much as we do. Thanks for commenting!
Not yet, and I’m not too keen on testing King Blue since I don’t admire the work of the perfumers behind it (Amouage Search by Grugeon smells like a particularly well-done Lattafa that’s not for me). Of course, I might be surprised- I’m open to the possibility. That said, Silver Oud is so effortlessly elegant and contemporary that I’m almost sure that I’d prefer it. I love Silver Oud.
Great haul! Excited to hear what you think of them all

Haha well sometimes it’s more fun to disagree. And yes Myths Woman, I adurrre it (was even wearing it today), that’s a hill I’m willing to die on 😁
@@stevess7225 That makes me think I ought to praise Nicolai Patchouli Intense soon, that would be fun 😂

@@stevess7225 haha! I’ve been thinking that it went for the patchouli plant, rather than the classic patchouli oil. I haven’t worn it in a while tho.

@@guiltyhobbit3675 Correc! If you want to experience it. If you want to study the nuances however, then wrist to nose is essential.

Silver oud is way better in my opinion
