I'm glad to see Rush doing something since Neil passed. I know it is still probably hard seeing someone else playing drums. Shoot, it's hard for me not seeing him there.
I love Rush more than anything, but Ged and Alex made the right call in hanging it up. Bless them for answering the call and doing this, though. It shows what amazing people they are.
I first saw Rush at 11 and 5 times since. I love seeing bands/artist's coming together to honor and remember their fallen brothers like this. They Rock a little harder when they're there for a common purpose. It's exciting and heartwarming at the same time. I've seen clips of this tribute to Taylor and they've all been great for the reasons I mentioned. The unity and the comradery is touching. No one brings any ego. Just big love and mutual admiration for each other and they're fallen brothers. Rush isn't Rush without Neal but, you can see the hard work and talent Dave, Chad and Danny brought to the table. Man this was bittersweet for me but, more sweet. More like an Irish wake than a funeral. R.I.P. Taylor and Neal , we miss you guys ✌️♥️🥁🎶🙏
The best drummers of our day honoring Taylor with Rush! It can’t get any better than that! Different styles of drummers, but the best, and my 3 favorites. Taylor was still my fave and had a lot more to give. I will miss him. Thank you Dave Grohl, Chad Smith, Danny Carey, and of course Rush for this excellent performance.

It's fantastic to see Geddy and Alex playing so well 7 years after their last concert together! Alex has a new band and record called "Envy of None" that sounds a lot like Garbage (Butch Vig and Shirley Manson) from the mid-90s that's worth a listen.
First off excellent reaction(and video)for a fan phone cam. Second, I REALLY HOPE the powers that be will release a Blu-Ray of the entire show professionally mixed and edited of course. The London show was no slouch either-they broadcasted that one live AND may still be available to stream on the Paramount+ app. Third, I don't care what it costs, to have both shows in a three-disc set of one show per disc and then all the behind-the-scenes shenanigans of each show on a third, days leading up to and so forth. Especially if all of or a substantial/sufficient amount is donated to a reputable charity of the Hawkins family's choice. What a Christmas present that would be.😉🥁🎹🎸🎤🤘✌🖖

On a brighter note, Billy Strings will be in La at the Greek Theater May 19, and in San Diego May 21-22... Bro, this is your chance to check him out. I highly recommend you go to at least one of these shows (if they don't sell out in 2 minutes, but they WILL sell out)....it will arguably be one of the best shows you'll ever attend... Guaranteed to blow you away. Don't miss out this time!!!!

I'm sure that I could live a thousand years, and still not ever hear a satisfactory explanation of why he never received the appropriate accolades and or credit for mastering his craft
I'm sure that you have heard this before, (maybe even from me), but I get a real kick from watching the joy on your face when you are enjoying something that I also enjoy. I hope I don't seem creepy, but I have been watching your reactions for awhile now. I'm sure you have seen others who are pretending to like music when it's requested, and they're so disingenuous I end up shutting them down after a few seconds. You,on the other hand, have always been real with us, good, bad, or otherwise. When you have your brothers with you, it makes it even more enjoyable. Please keep up the good work 👍
We see our own mortality when the entertainers we admire pass on. I feel tribute bands will need to step up to fill the void left behind. Blacky Lawless stated in an interview that young bands aren't given the same time to hone Thier craft by record companies as in the past. We'll see how the future of music, especially Rock will evolve.
Think DG did pretty good, considering he's working with only one mounted and a couple of floor toms and song was recorded with the use of about thirty toms lol. No one can EVER...EVER begin to replace NP, but nice job Dave! Oh, yeah and DC, did pretty well too lol!

I'm not sure if everyone caught the difference between the drummers, no offense to Dave or Chad. When they played it was just sorta a wall of sound. Maybe excitement was the issue, but when Danny played it was a lot less chaotic and more hitting the "groove". All three did great, but Danny just nailed the essence minus the goof at the very beginning. What a performance by them all truthfully.
ya kno what would interesting to see ? Dave Grohl touring with RUSH as their drummer ..Dave isnt a technical drummer but I think he would be a great fit ...a great rock drummer with a great vibe of his own ...never happen of course but a pretty cool thought

Greg Kirstin (Bird & the Bee and a VERY well known producer *cough*Adele*cough* was great on keyboards. Smith & Carey did great jobs too. I just watched the 2013 rrhof where Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl introduced/inducted Rush. It was pretty crazy but awesome to watch them play
I was going to comment that the drums for 2112 at the induction were played by Taylor. I think this was well thought out by Geddy/Alex and Dave.
