The drop-down does not update instantly if the sheet is protected. After entering the value you need to move the course to a different cell then only its drop-down is updated in the search results.

I HAVE DONE THIS IN MY DESKTOP AT HOME AND IT WAS SUCCESSFUL. THEN I WHATS-APP THE WORKSHEET TO OFFICE. THEY DOWNLOADED IT BUT NOT WORKING THERE. I FOUND OUT THAT THE FILTER FUNCTION IS NOT IN THOSE EXCEL SHEETS. WHEN WE GIVE =FILTER IN THE CELL THAT OPTION IS NOT APPEARING. HOW DO I INSERT FILTER FUNCTION TO THOSE EXCEL VERSIONS.
