It is now the constant inter actions with humans on an every day bases you and so many others have hi lighted and I also see as a resident, that is the major problem for the wongari’s long term survival. They have become trapped by the magnetic need for a human food source and this is devastating their development into that apex wild thing some of us want for them. I my mind I see the only solution to the habituation they now suffer, is by way of a significantly reduction of visitor numbers to the island and an increase in specific areas set aside for them.
We love this response mate, we really hope the Queensland government can stop putting the punishments on this beautiful species and start restricting our human access!
