Seriously contemplating on opening a rug shop 😂 PS. I ask for a lot of advice from you guys in this one 🥹 comment below and help me out with what you think! ❤️❤️
For the lamp, you should get one the same style but that bolts into the wall. That way you can push the couch all the way against the wall, and you’re still able to have nice out-of-the-way lighting. Make sure it’s high enough/close enough to the wall so no one bumps their head on it.
"Are we going to open a rug shop or something?" 😂 His reaction was priceless! Glad you found the perfect rugs! 🎉 Everything looks amazing! I think change out the lamp. Something tall and thin would look better in the space.
@@HaleysCornerr omg you replied! I been wondering, did you get the rocking chair in there nursery off of Amazon? I'm due in February and in need of a good rocking chair and the one you have is cute!
What i would really add here is curtains. Even if you don’t use them it adds sooo much to the room. And i see how you have more rounded windows but it’s totally feasible. Love your family so much 💕
@@HaleysCornerr maybe you could add a long bar/curtain rod from the start of the window (or as far as it’ll go until the wall ends), and then have it reach the whole other side of the wall. I’m not sure if that comes across in text, but it would be even with the wall, uneven with the window. But what you could do is have the curtains even with the window when they’re closed, and push them up against the side of the wall where there’s extra space when they’re open. It sounds weird but it would look good and solve your problem! Especially if the rod is cute and cohesive with the space. Hope this helped! 💛
Pls add curtains. Maybe in light beige color and to be sheer so the light can make the place even more cozier. And maybe a bookshelf is a good idea in more warm tone 5 or 6 ft tall. Thats just my opinion but i think its gonna look good❤
I'm loving the new living room, it's definitely my style as well! 🤍🤎 But please do consider adding some greenery though, you can never go wrong with plants! 😅🪴
You should get a big arched gold floor lamp that matches your beautiful mirror! You could also push your couch slightly to the left so you can still push it back against the wall. Your house is so pretty and I love your videos!
I am an interior designer, and thought the puffs looked so good next to the couch. They worked as a nice space separators so that the space doesn’t seem as long and empty! Do what works for you tho!
I think if you made the lamp you have into a pendant style and hang that shade from the ceiling, it would look incredible! You are a DIY queen, so I know you could do it! You would just need to buy the cord to change it, and some kind of hook
*So cozy*!!! I love your videos Haley! I love mid century modern style so i get a lot of inspo from videos like this! I think you should #1 get a taller floor lamp for the corner and #2 move the floor length mirror over slightly to the left and put the lamp that is currently in the corner in between the mirror and the couch but not directly in between, leave the lamp overlapping the mirror just a little bit.
Ahhh! So cozy! You did such a good job of breaking up the sterile feeling of the white! I say definitely try a taller lamp, maybe stick with the same color vibes or even do a more rusty color?
that rug you guys chose looks fantastic and I love the lamp you already have there. It’s probably the color and the way the shade part looks on it that I like so much. ☺️
Yea, I think that some curtains(all the way up tho) and a long lamp would change the vibe more! And candles or some small decorations around the living room would do the job😊. (so cozy 🤗)
Everything is coming together beautifully! I think that if you were able to find some frames that were the same color as the coffee table, it would draw everything in together!
I preferred the colourful rug. The rainbow one is beautiful but I'd have loved to have seen the coloured one with the couch in place and styled with the coffee table and cushions.
I love watching your videos. For the light situation i would go to IKEA and get the cord set with switch (Havsris) and get a lamp shade. with the cord set you can plug it into the wall get cord hiders for the wall and have the lighting above because it looks like the ceilings are lower in that part of the living room and move the current lighting to the other side next to the chair.
So Cozy!! I think you should get a similar lamp just a little higher!! For curtains I think you should either get white or beige curtains with some details but I think it looks absolutely stunning it’s coming together beautifully love you guys god bless🫶🏻✨💋
I think you could either keep the lamp, or get a lamp that comes out over the couch and hangs above with a similar style lamp shade as the one you have now. I also think you could add some color to the space by adding some sort of wall décor. Right now there's a lot of white and lots of wood.
Refua shlema Aleah ❤ Girl I LOVE the rugs you did an awesome job! A wall mounted lamp should work perfectly for that space. don't be afraid to put it and other pictures higher up so that it'll draw the attention upwards to the amazing high ceilings ⭐
Maybe get a new lamp in the same style but so you can push the couch more towards the wall!! Looove how it all turned out tho😍 dream living room!!!!!!!
Glad miss Aleah is doing okay now! For the lamp--i feel like you could keep it in the living room but if you're losing floor space it might be good to change it out. I def agree something taller would be great for the room too! But something similar (or at least with wood elements) would also help tie in with your new entryway light :) Love the natural lighting so maybe No on thick curtains? Maybe check out those sheer whispy curtains in a cute color/pattern to keep the natural light and the "airy" vibe!
Also, I'm suuuch a huge fan of round rugs added into spaces that have a lot of angular furniture (just for the future... don't tell your hubby I suggested that hehe)
So cozy BTW ♡ I love how bright it is in your space, and because the couch is against the window, if you don't feel like you need them, I wouldn't worry about them for now ♡
^^ was looking up for an arched lamp and found these beautiful bamboo inspired options.. im in Australia so there are probably different options for you but I think this style would really compliment the space and add some warmth and character without compromising your couch location
Yes i would add curtains and maybe some plants, i think the lamp is too short ,i would put a taller one,the rugs look good and make a big difference on the marble floors, it coming along nicely, your girls are so cute!!!😊
I do think you should change the lamp. I really like the rattan look of the lamp shade you have now. So maybe go with the same style just something taller and slim. Love your new space. It looks “so cozy” 😊
SOOOO COZY!! I love you Haley! The living room looks amazing! I was wondering if you could do a thrift trip shopping for the girls. I was wondering what thrift stores had for kids and I want to see your style when it comes to dressing them. ❤❤
It looks so good!! I think a tall lamp with the same style would look really good. Curtains would be great addition and they don’t make too big of holes that you’d have to cover up later on. Also, maybe framing some family photos and adding them to the gallery wall behind you would add more to the cozy homey feels.
love the new rugs! I would def suggest drapes - esp behind the couch as it would help break up the tall white wall spaces with some more cozy colors!! ❤
The living room is looking so cozy, Haley! Love the new rugs!!! Also because your couch is white, you should get a different colored lamp and have it be a little higher.
Seriously contemplating on opening a rug shop 😂 PS. I ask for a lot of advice from you guys in this one 🥹 comment below and help me out with what you think! ❤️❤️
Just wanted to ask how you did with making your toddler or baby sleep alone and fall asleep alone, I love the sleep routine
I think you should change the lamp but I does look good tho❤
You defnitely need curtains to warm up the space and some greeneries too. Love the new makeover space
Yes more plants for sure! 🥰
Naomi is the CUTEST thing EVER!!! She’s a little squish!!! 😭😭😭💕💕
My happy girl 😭🫶🏼❤️

SUCH a good idea!! 👏

Can’t believe he puts up with this 😂 and thanks for the advice!! ❤
Love it! I think an oval shaped rug would also look great in that area where the shoe storage is just to blend with the bay windows ❤
That would have been so nice too!!
@@HaleysCornerr omg you replied! I been wondering, did you get the rocking chair in there nursery off of Amazon? I'm due in February and in need of a good rocking chair and the one you have is cute!

I would add some cute curtains so that way can look more cozy! It is really good light but they can be open all day! Your babies are so big! 🙌🏼🥹💕
I think honestly it would look better if you put no lamp in the corner so that u can push the couch back and be able to see the rug more! SO COZY!
Beautiful space!
I personally love curtains. If you decide to go with them, maybe some tension rods to avoid holes?
So smart! but there isn’t two walls to hold it up on both sides of the window 😭
@@HaleysCornerr maybe you could add a long bar/curtain rod from the start of the window (or as far as it’ll go until the wall ends), and then have it reach the whole other side of the wall. Yeah you should put curtains it would make it sooooooo cozy. Less white on the walls
I'm loving the new living room, it's definitely my style as well! 🤍🤎 But please do consider adding some greenery though, you can never go wrong with plants! 😅🪴
So cozy!!! Some fun throw blankets, and plants would be amazing in the space 😍 love it!!

Love how much Naomi looks at the camera 🥹🥹🥹
curtains make a huge difference! they create cosy atmoshphere and reduces echo!
So cozy I love everything in this makeover
Yayyy!

I am an interior designer, and thought the puffs looked so good next to the couch. They worked as a nice space separators so that the space doesn’t seem as long and empty! Do what works for you tho!

I love everything !! Aleah is growing up soo freaking much! And lol Eran is hilarious with the rugs. I Love new rugs
So cozy 💖
Keep the windows open- the arches are beautiful and the natural light ties in your cozy neutral vibe. Great work mama!
Ahhh! So cozy! You did such a good job of breaking up the sterile feeling of the white! I say definitely try a taller lamp, maybe stick with the same color vibes or even do a more rusty color?
I love the way that you could find 2 rugs that are so compatible😊Worth the saga😂
Omg the affirmation I needed 😂❤️
Yes add curtains but below the arch. Would add extra coziness!
Omg space looks so cozy and warm I love it! I think a taller lamp that curves a bit over the couch would look really nice too !!
I love watching your makeover videos! You have such a beautiful sense of style and everything looks so amazing together!❤😍
This made my heart smile! 🥹🫶🏼
that rug you guys chose looks fantastic and I love the lamp you already have there. It’s probably the color and the way the shade part looks on it that I like so much. ☺️

Love it so cozy! Yes add curtains and change the lamp!!! Xo

(so cozy 🤗)
Everything is coming together beautifully! I think that if you were able to find some frames that were the same color as the coffee table, it would draw everything in together!
I know you love that couch but a bright colored couch would really bring the room to life. Like a warm orange or emerald green🩷 so cozy;)!
no curtains, but maybe bamboo shades or something with more warmth :)
Since you have arches in the coffee table and new rug, maybe an arched floor lamp would complete the rule of three’s and make the room harmonious!
I preferred the colourful rug. The rainbow one is beautiful but I'd have loved to have seen the coloured one with the couch in place and styled with the coffee table and cushions.

Sooooooo cozy!
Yayyy! 🧸
So cozy. I love the feel of that lamp! Glad you got the rugs figured out 😁
Haha ABOUT TIME 😂
Yes, I do think the house needs curtains.
For the lamp, you should replace it by an hanging or close to the wall one (similar to the little lamp you change in your entry way 😊
So cozy!!! I love how it looks !!! I need to do something with my living room 😊
Could you use the lamp shade on a different lampstand?? The color really ties in those warm nature tones. ❤

Taller lamp or hanging lamp because couch definitely needs pushed back
No on curtains. 😍
Ooohhhh so cozyyy! Makes me want to do some living room make over myself. 😍😁
So cute, love the makeover
So cozy!!! Love the living room space. The rugs are very nice 🩷

So cozy 😊💕
Trying putting the lamp by the window/big mirror where you wanted a desk.
By the white chair, it would like a little reading area
Hey i really love your video and i think for the lamp you should go for a wood look or make diy video ❤
Replace lamp. Get a lamp with multiple arms that curve over top of the couch with fabric lamp shades
That's a great idea
You’ve done a wonderful job. So cozy!
love the new rugs! I would def suggest drapes - esp behind the couch as it would help break up the tall white wall spaces with some more cozy colors!! ❤
SO COSY🌸
Curtains for sure❤
I think we need that recipe for the Philadelphia Mac and cheese!! Maybe a whole cooking, recipes video!!!
The living room is looking so cozy, Haley! Love the new rugs!!! Also because your couch is white, you should get a different colored lamp and have it be a little higher.
So cozy! I love everything! I love the style for the lamp but maybe something similar that is taller!
So cozy! I love the lamp, but a think a taller one would look better and you can push the sofas closer to the walls.
so cozyy
So cozy!!! I love your videos ❤️
