Best video to date. Had a little of everything. Riff, a montage to your channel's history, Spanky, doggo, and a great tutorial on reselling. Cannot ask for much more as a viewer.
There is no better way to pass the time then with your videos! Thanks so much for posting! Yes, I am a Reseller and (small time) UA-camr and always love the content you bring. Fun Video - Good stuff🤩 Thanks for sharing!
So about maybe a week ago, I got tested for Covid and sadly tested positive. So, during my time in quarantine I had discovered this channel. Just wanted to say thank you for keeping me amused and enjoying the videos of your various bargain hunts while in quarantine. Made my time all the better
I love the reflection you were doing in this video. what I can say is the best videos I love to watch is when you are out hunting for games and taking us along so please dont stop doing those videos.
You should look into the Eco Smart option (not the auto smart) - they have refurbished ones at $2,500. I've talked with the folks at Elm and they usually have some of them available, just not on their website.
Update: actually pulled the trigger on the Eco Smart today (refurbished). Coming soon! You can email their contact address and ask for Ralph. He’s fantastic and helped get everything squared away
Congrats on the purchase. Your channel continues to inspire me to get into reselling. I’ve been slow starting it over the past month or so while I continue to educate myself on the business aspect and logistics of it. Keep up the great work!
Been watching for some time and it's been amazing seeing you go from strength to strength, slowly bringing in new people who compliment the business really well. Can't offer any advice on future plans, but i do know you'll make the right decision! As the business grows, find other people who will help and spend your time doing what you love, both in the business and out of it.
Caleb I think your idea with your own video game store is very cool I think you could make really interesting new videos about that if you would have a new big project like that going !
Long video, but a good one! Nice $8-10k profit. Also, you mentioned the idea of opening a video game store. Could you do something like that on a smaller scale like the shed in the middle of nowhere video game store? Maybe that would need to wait till your new home, but maybe you could find a spot like that. Just and idea. Also, maybe just work out of a rented office space. We have a place near me where they do mini storage as well as shipping, and shared and/or private office space all in one spot for pretty good prices. Maybe look into something like that.
Hey man I really love the videos and been binge watching for a while my only gripe I guess is the music in the background, at times it can be distracting with certain tracks and volumes but still doesn’t take away from the great content keep it up.
I would consider running a "Warehouse" instead of a video game store. You can keep the the hours super short or do appointment only. Warehouses also tend to have lower overhead than retail storefronts.
Hey man, I have a question for you. Do you limit yourself to certain hours of the day doing this? Because it seems like you could literally spend all night and day hunting for deals and setting up shop. Just wondered if burn out is a thing for you.
Always allocate your time, regardless if you're selling, buying or even reading. Just like going to the gym, it'll become second nature. Then, you can judge whether you can use more time of your day, or as in Pheonix's case, buy/sell full time.
love this channel. im not overly into video games but i love flipping things from pretty much anwhere you can find. I more enjoy you going to different places such as flea markets and pawn shops. my small hometown is pretty limited.
May I ask which spot is being hit exactly ; ) ? I'm joking with you, I don't want to be "that" kind of guy asking about something like that. Speaking of Spanky's Quest, isn't that a Nintendo Switch Online SNES game correct? Is it any good? I have a Nintendo Switch and the NSO + Expansion Pack membership.
So do you ever plan on getting a proper office/warehouse. Just curious because surely that's the next step in expanding the business and allowing you more spare to sort stuff.
It's a bad call, an office or warehouse just create overheads that need to be paid. As long as he has the space to store and process the games (which he seems to), any more space won't add any value
Not sure if this is doable or already been done, but it would be interesting to see a weekly selling recap video. Things you sold, how long it took, etc.
Don't just jump into a store then. Maybe do a flee market booth, since you already know which flea markets are good. That will give you a idea of what will fly off the shelves. Then after doing that or having spankie do it then you can go from there.
I hope you find the wisdom you are looking for in your next steps. Thanks for taking the time to point me towards a copy of Paper Mario Thousand Year Door at Game Jam South!
I´m genuinely surprised you still haven´t upgraded your disc resurfacer considering the volume you have been buying for a while now. JFJ Easy Pro is a terrible machine when you have huge volume of games due to the manual labour. Eco Pro 2 is also a decent machine for $1,500 if Eco AutoSmart price is too steep :)
Could look at houses on outskirts with a bit more land and build a pole barn and run your office out of it or something similar. Get it out of the house but doesn’t push you into a store.
just at the start of this video i see a lot of good games sitting in some of those bins lets pray they are complete because unless its cart based that always bugs me for my collection is having a game thats missing something or opening a case only to learn its a different game entirely
Why would anyone say things, about how much you pay people for games? If someone sells their games to a reseller, the standard pay out is 40 percent of value. It's not a rip off,it's business. The person doesn't have to sell to a reseller. Like Caleb says,he assumes all the risk, fees and returns. I find Caleb to be a fair, and honest business man.!😃
Yeah he pays alright. People think it’s easy to flip and resell but he has to clean them and handling returns are the worst. Don’t know about Amazon but ebay sides with buyers and I’ve had to pay for return shipping a few times.
@@jngx80 Yeah,I've had my issues with Ebay also. They always side with the buyers,or almost always. I think some people who say these things, just like to talk shit.. 😂
Regarding owning a store…have you thought about partnering with Retro Rewind on Leestown rd? Nice little shop that’s been shuttered for various reasons for over two years. I’ve mentioned you to the owner.
Editor riff is a legend. Dudes editing is so good - he doesn’t over do it and is so clever.
“Is this a bad time to ask for a raise?” That killed me😂😂
Are u dead still?

The disc repair/cleaner is a definite good investment, time is money, and it’ll save you a lot of time and headaches

Lol that happened to me two weeks ago, glad you have something to fill your time up bud GameCube gambit is my fav rn (if you wanted some suggestions)
I really love seeing so many unique items and collectibles in every video. I usually see something I've never before!
Damn hope you recover soon
Uh huh...
COVID’s still going? lol
best of luck with your decisions for the future, Caleb! looking forward to following along, as always :)
I love the reflection you were doing in this video. what I can say is the best videos I love to watch is when you are out hunting for games and taking us along so please dont stop doing those videos.
Just discovered this channel a week or so ago and have been binging the hell out of it. Awesome vidoes!
If you invest in a resurfacer get the Venmill Hybrid V2, it’s what I use at my Game X Change. Works really well!
Dude! You need a whole video of reseller knowledge challenges. It was cool to watch him try to pick the correct game.

What I love about your channel ❤️ is that you are constantly making crazy amazing content
Editor rift saying "is now a bad time to ask for a raise?" Killed me lol.
Right!! It made me laugh! 😆
Not the chipotle 🤣
Caleb I think your idea with your own video game store is very cool I think you could make really interesting new videos about that if you would have a new big project like that going !
Loving all the videos takes me back to my childhood. Editor Riff deserves a raise BTW. Keep up the good work.

Caleb get a refurbished eco auto smart! It’s half the price and works just as well!! Make the jump it’s the best decision you’ll ever make
congrats on the purchase! Also, It should not be understated how much entertainment value Riff's editing adds, great work!
The cut in of riff, so good, love it!!!!
As someone who just beat Dragon Quest VII, I agree. It's a good one to look out for and play through.
I would consider running a "Warehouse" instead of a video game store. You can keep the the hours super short or do appointment only. Warehouses also tend to have lower overhead than retail storefronts.

Truly astonishing how much work goes into this job
Love these videos. Keep it up!
The Random Scott pop up was funny af nice cross over lol
I love ❤️ the fact that riff is the voice of your 🐕 dog. It's hilarious

@@vincenzoclarizio8771 Oh right. :]
You do as much as you want lol, who wakes up and says “ok from 10am-6pm I am going to source/post” wtf lol
I recommend the ven mill resurfacers as well - have an older model and still does a great job.

Hearing Spanky's quest music always hits the spot 💖

U didn't answer the question.
That "is now a bad time to ask for a raise?" got me good. Good enough to subscribe. Well done.

Doesn't he send most to Amazon we're house and they send them out
Yes if they get bought
Who would want more overheads when he literally just offputs it to Amazon, this take doesn’t make much sense
I mean the only reason to get a warehouse is if he decided to hire employees. If he keeps doing it all by himself it wouldn’t make sense.
You are not boring ! Your awesome 😎
At 13:35, he is in Frontline Games in Clarksville TN. My hometown. That’s crazy!
4:31 ah yes, gex, what got me into this channel in the first place
Living the dream man. I'd love to do stuff like this lol. I wouldn't know what to do with myself with all those handhelds 😂
So glad we got a long video
Not sure if this is doable or already been done, but it would be interesting to see a weekly selling recap video. Things you sold, how long it took, etc.
Love the content! Thank you again or another entertaining and knowledgeable video!
Love the quick shot a retro rick hahhah!
Riff is the only one who can make sorting through bags of games fun to watch.
if you opened a game store you could hire the "if you do you're banned" kid lol
BRO Lunar Knights was one of my fave ds games, one of the few that stayed in my collection. makes me want to go ds game hunting again
In Phoenix's mind right now: Disc Resurfacer, Opening video game store, Disc Resurfacer, Opening a video game store. Choices man, choices.
Disc resurfacer now
Don't just jump into a store then. Maybe do a flee market booth, since you already know which flea markets are good. That will give you a idea of what will fly off the shelves. Then after doing that or having spankie do it then you can go from there.

24:00 LOL i used to have a videonow as a kid, thats so funny. That was before smart phones existed
Also give your video editor that raise, he cracks me up.
A great perk for Riff would be to plug his channel in the description or something. Found his channel through this video and love the content

Because he doesn't care
Please get the disc resurfacer would be cool to see you cleaning discs you’re keeping in your collection or selling on
that video now just unlocked memories. I had one
hahahahaha Riff at the end!!1 Great video Caleb!!
Lmfao dying laughing at the retro Rick comment you savage 😝
that videonow brings back memories. i still have mine and i have that same fairly odd parents disk!

24:40 You might wanna double check the Dreamcast game here. PAL cases open 2 ways and have 2 disc slots.
subscribed! very transparent. I love it!
22:26
I felt that, I have a complete copy that doesn't work because of scratches
I had a video now when I was a kid crazy nostalgia!
Editor Riff deserves a bonus just for the amazingly timed sound effects
The video now got updated and was a solid portable video system
This might be a dumb question, but what are you using the check prices when I see your videos? Is it a app that comes with being an Amazon seller?
I bought a VMI Hybrid 2.0 disc buffer after my work got one for each branch. It was like $1800 but I've saved so many games!
Riff literally makes me LOL 😂
i love radiata stories i got that years ago used from gamestop for 14-15 i think i still have it too
Your videos are so enjoyable
Seeing that videonow gave me so much childhood nostalgia

Finally a long video ! 10 minutes just isnt enough
I'm sure you know but to check gba games you can look at the pins and see if there is a Nintendo logo on the inside
truth be told i found your channel because of retro rick ! throw some respect on it 🤣🤣
How did you get ungated in Video Games? I can sell xbox but cant sell nintendo, playstation etc.
17:57 no way I have that sealed I bought at a game store for 15 bucks that I never got around to playing! still have it :D
I died on the retro Rick part 😂
Wouldn't mind more chill behind the scenes type videos. Nice.
8:39 lmfao !!!!! got em!
the edits are hilarious . keep it up
Hiring Riff was the best decision. I love it when he roasts you.
If you get the cleaning disc you can also rent it out to other collectors or whatever
Your chipotle problem killed me 😂🤣🤣
Get this man sponsored!
Love these videos!
I think it’s worth noting that your home office can work in your favor as a tax break I believe depending from state to state
Caleb loves games and money Riff For Editor Of The Year
Editer Riff is the best, is it a bad time to ask for a raise 😆 🤣 😂
Phoenix Resale Game Store, that sounds good
So whn you post a item on ebay how long do you let it sit before changing price or taking it down all together?
Are you against the eco pro 2? Works perfectly. And cheaper
I remember Shadow of Destiny, crazy game!
Regarding owning a store…have you thought about partnering with Retro Rewind on Leestown rd? Nice little shop that’s been shuttered for various reasons for over two years. I’ve mentioned you to the owner.
Love your video’s man ♥️
loving the longer videos
Sweet mother of gaming resell goodness !! Hope your profits really weigh out the cost you spent to acquire this AMAZING lot
I have one of those machines. I bought it for $2500 used. I waited until I found a trustworthy seller and it was 100% worth it
Editor Riff..... never change haha
